The world was at a time of war. It does not matter when, where, why, how or who with. All that matters is, we were at war.
In the middle of a field, in an unknown location, a soldier lay wounded on the ground. They were still and unmoving but not dead. No, they had collapsed from exhaustion.
Around them lay fallen enemies, comrades, friends, family and utter strangers. Blood stained the clothes of everyone around. Swords and bows and arrows and guns lay in uneven clusters across the plains.
Then the soldier started to sweat...
