When I awoke again, I was truly awake and surround by dead bodies in the middle of nowhere. I looked around and saw my friends, family, comrades, enemies and strangers surrounding me. I was the only one left. I looked at the weapons spread across the floor and their bodies. Some limbs were still oozing with blood, as I stared at the bodies. I looked down at my own hands to see my blood covered hands and sword.
The air was filled with that same metallic stench from my nightmares but I couldn't smell it. My mind was too full of guilt to recognise much at this point and that was when I made my choice...
