I sat bolt upright with nothing around. I new nothing. My name had left my mind. I did not know why I was there. All I knew was, the ground was cool, but a metallic smell was prominent. I decided to get up and have a look around.
As I walked I say a body laying on the ground. 'Oh thank the lord.' I thought to myself as I wasn't the only one here. Although, as I got closer I saw red smeared everywhere. Then it hit me, they were dead. My heart rate picked up and I ran. The further away from my waking spot I ran, the stronger the smell got.
Suddenly, I stopped in my tracks. On the ground lay a large heap of bodies. Redness covered everything in sight and I realised the smell was blood. My eyes widened in shock. Then, everything went black.
