Chapter 1

Looking up at the sky I sighed, I remember an Old eunuch once said to me:

" Time is but an illusion mankind made up. Things not understood will go unnoticed, for some people turn a blind eye. Humans are blind, they only see what they think. Blinded by their thought is what makes them fools. Put under pressure and they would submit. Put high in the sky and they would make others submit. The happiness of one is the sadness of another. If we knew each others thought then there would be no misunderstandings. If we understood the story then there would be no tragedy. Sometimes life is to short and some to long but often time it's just simply shitty."

If I where to go back in time there would be many things I would like to add, using my new found wisdom in the many years I spent in the palace. It was to bad he died, but I was sure I was going to die soon anyways and join him in the after life....

"Ahhh~"
"Do you like it?"
"Yes, deeper more~"
"Ahhhhhhhh~"

I sighed looking at the full moon. If We were to get caught...Tears mentally rolled down my eyes. I was sure the the other people who were also on the look out wanted to cry as well.

Although I was outside of the room, I could hear the whole thing. The imperial concubine and fourth prince were getting louder and louder in there passionate yet forbidden tryst. For the life and death of us couldn't they just keep it in their own pants.

I came into the palace when I was only 10 years old. My family sold me to be an eunuch. I don't blame my parents,we were poor and desperate my baby sister and younger brother were starving. We needed money there was no other options, although the money in exchange was not much it was still something.

Though the process of castration was painful, I had food to eat, warmer clothes and shelter. I naively thought my life was going to get better. Although I couldn't have descendants, being an eunuch was thought of as honourable profession by many people.

AN HONOURABLE PROFFESSION MY ASS!!! In my years of being an eunuch other then learning the basic manners and etiquettes the main things I learned was to steal, act, flatter, and bribe if that's honourable then what's dishonourable?!!!

At first when I noticed such action amongst my seniors I was shocked and went to tell an old eunuch whom I became close about these things but every time he'd often say:

"Child, being an eunuch is a matter of life and death, keep your mouth shut, those seniors already established a status amongst the many servants, if they wanted they can make your life miserable or end it, so play along and act like a fool if you want to live."

After learning the basic etiquette, I was send to the emperor's concubine palaces, and there I learned the dark sides of females....well let's not talk about that for now...

It is the twenty sixth summer since I came to the palace and currently I have been put out as a look out for the fourth prince and the imperial concubine of the Emperor.

"Ahhhhh~" The imperial concubine moaned loudly.

Yes, Ahhhh~ is what we'll all scream when our head gets decapitated from our bodies, I thought as my back was full of sweat. How much I would love to shove a dirty cloth in their mouth in their freaked dirty mouth!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking of these thoughts.

This is not the first time the Imperial concubine and the fourth prince are doing "it".They've done it many times before, and each time us servants have to keep a look out. I'm afraid we might get caught soon...

"Your majesty please wait!"

Ah....I spoke to soon....

"These insolent people, guards kill them!" It seems the emperor found out about the affair...

Sounds of running quickly came closer. His majesty, the emperor came with his Guards. The guards sliced through any servant in their way. Looking at the scene I felt quite scared. It seems today will be the day I'll die, I cannot escape, it's futile .

Some tried to turn around and flee, but those who stayed knew they couldn't run away.

His majesty the emperor caught an imperial concubine and his son the fourth prince in the act thus ordered an execution, throughout the night in the imperial palace there were screams and shouts coming from the quarters of an imperial concubine. All the people who were caught were killed, it was a big scandal but everyone remained silent in fear of execution.
