Chapter 4

"Mr Shan, it was a miracle you even survived. Although you'll be staying in the hospital for a while, if you need anything the nurses will be here to help."Said the doctor briefly, before leaving to attend another patient.

After the doctor left a wave of silence washed over the room.

"Where is this?" The young man on the bed asked breaking the silence.

"Shan Xue, this is the hospital"  Ming Yin said gently.

"You're injured, and you need all the rest you can get."

The Eunuch was perplexed, why was he being call Shan Xue? His name was not Shan Xue. And he was at the hospital?

As he tried to piece all the information together, there was suddenly a bizarre buzzing sound.

The buzzing sound was from   Ming Yin's phone.

Ming Yin answered her call, and sure enough it was her secretary.

She had an important meeting to attend soon, and not only that but the secretary also notified her that someone has been caught embezzling money from the company.

Glancing, at her nephew she gently called out to him.

"Shan Xue."

"Ah-Yes?" The eunuch answered back as he somewhat knew that she was talking to him.

"Auntie has an important meeting to go to. If that's alright with you I'll come back when you're healed, and ready to be discharged."

"Okay..." Not understanding the situation he quickly agreed.

Ming Yin quickly left to go back to her company and fix the problems.

The eunuch had heard her talk on the phone but since he did not know what a phone was. Since he heard her talking to herself he thought she might actually be crazy. Hence she thought he was her nephew Shan Xue.

Listening to the footstep get farther away the eunuch felt more at ease. Though his heart was still on alert.

But there was something amiss.

He was an excellent character judger and when he observed the women and the man in white he did not see them hiding anything and the woman seemed to be very sincere.

He slowly raised his right arm that was free, to check it.

He could not believe it. He did not believe it.

What he saw was his arm. Long and skinny, every side and finger tips looked very smooth like fine jade.

Other then some small scratches and bandages covering the larger wounds his arm looked notable very youthful.

He did not remember his arm looking like this at all.

He was already 36 years old and had already developed wrinkles. The comparison between his current hand and his previous one was immensely different.
