As I ran to Find my protected

A million thoughts flooded my mind as I listened to hers

"I'm coming, I gonna get to ya don't worry"

'I'm close...'

'I feel our connection getting stronger'

What happened back there...

It messed with her emotions...

And when she exploded...

I could only sit there.. and watch

'What kind of a Guardian am I!? To watch my Protected just explode without helping her..'

I stopped for a second only to continue on again

"Not again, I won't just let you cry alone!"

I sped forward to stop in my tracks

As I watched her fall to the ground into a ball of emotions

Y/N's POV
"I-I can't.."

I heard light foot steps making their way to me

"Y/N..please..get up"

Their shadow loomed over me

At first I couldn't make out the voice so I looked up

"M-Marshy..."

She leaned down picking me up bridal style (like a mom would to her child, not in a romantic way)

Smiling sadly she spoke

"I'm so sorry.."

"What are you talking about, you didn't do anything...it was th-"

"The boys..heh. I guess you could say that Y/N"

I stayed silent and only sighed in response

"But the fight was over you. And Haru and I were able to get them off each other"

"...that's...good" I couldn't, nor did I want to, say much of anything

I'm still in shock..
