Jelsa: A Tale of Two Snowflakes

Pitch Black

I bolted upright in my bed.
Another Nightmare. I've been having them nonstop since The party.
I feel- afraid.
I heard laughing down the hall. Anna must have someone over. I pulled my gloves over my hands and cracked the door open
Anna and some girl I didn't know stood before my door with their backs to me.
"Elsa!?"
Anna was surprised. She's not used to seeing me out of my room. A girl with short brown hair and green eyes smiled at me.
"Hi, i'm Rapunzel, your cousin!"
"Oh, hi"
"And she isn't my cousin, thank goodness."
Anna looked at her and smiled
"I'm confused."
"Anna, is the daughter of Queen Iduna and Sir Hans of the Southern Iles. And you, you are the daughter of King Agnarr and Lady Violet. That makes you and I cousins."
Wait... that means.. Anna and I aren't real sisters?
What?
Just then our butler, Smithers came forth.
"Queen Elsa, we are almost out of food in the kitchen. Shall I have the maid fetch more?"
"No Smithers, all do it. Some fresh air should clear my mind."

I strolled through the village. Cautiously, but enjoying myself.
All the Villagers eyes where on me.
They hadn't seen me out much.
They hadn't seen me since my Coronation actually.
I pulled my gloves up more.
The more people staring, the more fear I had.
It was welding up inside me.
I felt like someone was putting it in me.
Inserting fear into my life.
I walked a bit faster.
Reaching the Village Market, I starting collecting some food, when a sudden chill haunted the air.
I dropped my basket.
Did I do that?
My gloves where on, and no frost seemed to stain them.
As I bent down to get my basket,
I saw something else.
Something white shimmering on the floor.
Oh no.
A snowflake.
I better hurry and get out of here.
After I payed, I started running back towards the castle.

Walking inside, I heard Anna and Rapunzel.
Suddenly, something occurred to me.
"Anna"
"Yes Elsa?"
They both walked into the room.
"Why did you say it was good you two weren't cousins?"
"Oh well that um well uh"
"Anna!"
"What? I didn't- I mean"
I could tell Anna and Rapunzel had something going on.
Oh my goodness!
"Do you guys like each other?"
Rapunzel blushed while Anna pulled their hands up to reveal that they where intertwined
"Aww that's so cute!"
Anna and Rapunzel where in the middle of explaining their relationship when I got a huge headache.
The room started getting chilly.
My powers where loosing control.
I had to get out of there before something happened.
My biggest fear is that no one will accept me.
"Excuse me. I gotta go"
"Oh. Okay"
"Bye Elsa!"
I got into my room, locked the door, slid down the wall and sighed.
"Why is fear the only thing coming to mind lately?"
A soft chuckle came from somewhere in the room.
"Why my dear, let me answer that"
Who's there?!
"Don't be afraid Elsa. Be very afraid."
A tall man seemingly made of black sand stepped out of the shadows.
"I'm Pitch Black, my dear Elsa, and you, are my latest victim."

When he spoke his eyes lit up.
A scream sounded from somewhere outside.
Pitch's eyes widened for a split second before he said
"We shall meet again my pet."
And disappeared into the shadows.
