England sat upon his horse with a dark scowl on his face. He glanced at the other men following him. He dismounts and removes his feathered cavalry hat. The church was in ashes and he could smell burnt flesh, he knew it was one of his men and he already had a feeling he knew who.

"Any man who deems this as acceptable behaviour will get a meeting with the end of my sword." England growls. He quickly mounts his bay horse again and pushes him forward. He may want to win this revolution but doing such things to the citizens of the New World would only cause more problems in the future. He leads the group back towards where some of the captains of the army were stationed, he knew that the man who did this would be at the tents.

On the way to their barracks England sighed heavily, his men being shot off their horses by the Militia of the Continental Army. England raised one of his large eyebrows when he noticed an all too familiar young boy.

"Hello Alfred." England decided to stick to the boy's human name, he didn't know what to call him anymore. America? New World? Thirteen Colonies?

"England." Alfred stepped forward, shoving the older men out of the way.

"I'm on a mission Alfred, please move." England says in his stern tone.

"Now why would I let you do that?" Alfred snaps. The Militia soldiers looked between the two people in confusion.

"I'm not an idiot. Let me through I'm doing your job for you." England says, Alfred gives him a questioning look.

"I noticed the church. Doing such a thing merely gives you people a reason to revolt even more. So I would very much like to eliminate this man so he doesn't cause me anymore problems." England grumbles. Alfred nods slowly before rolling his eyes.

"Of course, how do I know you're telling the truth?" Alfred asks. England chuckles dismounting and walking over at Alfred, he gently brushes his thumb over the young teen's cheek.

"If there's one thing you would know by now Alfred my boy, I always make good on the promises of killing someone." He leaned forward right next to Alfred's ear. "Why do you think I haven't promised to stop you? You'll do fine on your own and you'll open up more opportunities for me."

------------

England jumps slightly at hearing a loud noise. It was interesting reliving memories like them.

"Sorry Iggy!" I hear a loud American voice. I chuckle and swung my legs over the side of the bed as I stand up and walk out of America's room and head downstairs. I find the American trying to make some sort of unhealthy breakfast.

"Good morning." I smile and wrap my arms around his waist. He chuckles turning around to grin down at me.

"Morning! I cooked some bacon if you want some." He says and I nod with a small smile.

"You know what?" I say and the North American country raises an eyebrow at me. "I'm so glad I never promised to have you stay in my Empire." I say and I see recognition in those bright blue orbs. A soft kiss was pressed to my forehead.

"Me too Arthur, me too."
