Here's an unusual one. I won for an entry in the 2015 Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate video game Halloween costume contest (Playstation & X-Box).
I'd entered the year before & didn't win, but won for the character above, which meant my design was made into a 3D character skin (on the right).

I enjoyed playing the game with the costume (I paid for it, heh). Tecmo's Team Ninja did send me some cool stuff including an art book for the game though. I congratulated some of the winners for other characters at a few video game forums.
