Chapter 2

Kumi's Pov
I'm home already. Finally I can lay  down on my bed and then stare at the ceiling. I remember Shu said that thing to me at the school. I think I dont want to go to school, but how am I supposed to learn if I will skip my class? I know now what to do! I sleep again and woke up 7:00 and at 8:00 it is our school time. Now I get ready already and head to my car.

Ok Kumi! I know that you can do this. While walking I saw Shu sorrounded by girls, trying to impress him, welp news flash I don't care. I immediately go to my room and sit waiting for our professor. I lay my head down the table.

I wake up when someone shake me a little. I look up and saw that it's Shu who wake me up. "Prof is almost here. Sit properly." He said and I he sit down beside me. I ignore him and fix myself.

When our Professor enter the room we greet him. Our subject tonight is Music. Classical Music to be specific.

"-there are 3 famous composers back in the days of Classical Music. They are: Beethoven and I hope you know them. I'll give you a fact, he has an illness where he can only here a constant sound something like beeeeeep. And how did he manage to compose music? He place his ear down the piano so that he can hear a noise, a sound rather, even the volume is just a little. Next is Haydn and last is Mozart. I think it's Haydn who fits the best for the phrase "rags to riches". Then Mozart is the music prodigy, he started composing when he was a child, he composed 700 in total. But then because he was rich he spend all his money and when he died in an early age, no one knows where he is buried." our professor discussed.
I dozed off when he finished discussing about the 3 composer. I'm back to reality when the school bell rings. "Class dismissed" he said and we fix our things. I stand up and carry my bag. I walk out of class and go to my next subject.

After all our class, I rush to get outside of this school, I don't want to see him, I saw him already and that's enough.

I wish I just love someone else, who loves me back. Why did he have to be like that to me, after all I did. I sigh and I felt a tear drop roll down my rosy cheeks. I immediately wipe it off, I don't want someone to notice that I am weak.

I don't want someone to know I've been hiding all the pain. I need to show them I'm the strongest person they know.

It's not lying, know the difference between secrets and a lie.

I just want to go home now.

I walk as fast as I can just to reach my car. I saw my driver from the distance. He opened the door for me. "Drive fast" I said and he comply.

When we got home within 15 minutes, I get out of the car and ran towards my house. "Good evening madame." I maids said and they bow. I dismissed them.

I throw my bag somewhere I don't know. My maids know what to do. For years they work to us, they now know my actions. Heck, I think they know me better than myself.

I'm so tired, I go upstairs and change my clothes, then lay down on my white bed.

"I did nothing but study, but why am I so tired~~?"

When I'm about to sleep, someone knock on my door. "Come in" I said and, I saw my maid enter. "Madame-"

I cut her off "I told you just Kumi". "Okay Mada- Kumi. Here's your dinner. And a letter." she said. My I frown, "From who?" I asked. "I think you should read it." She said and get out of my room.

I grab the letter and read it.

Our Lovely Daughter,

        Me and your father decided to go back home. Of course, for your
coming debut. We love you my love.

Oh it's my debut next week. I need to invite my friends. And they are the Sakamaki and Mukami.

I lay back down and re-read the letter, I look at the back of the paper.

By this time, you'll be married.
