Nari is 7 in this
"Where are they...!?" Jin mumbled impatiently, attempting to stall dinner for as long as possible. He had allowed Namjoon to take Nari out to the park after lunch for a few hours and told them to be home by dinner. 5:45, still no sets of feet racing towards the door.
Usually whenever Jin let the boys take Nari somewhere, they were back by 3 or 4, not wanting to face the wrath of an angry motherly man. But most likely, Namjoon did not understand. "Don't worry, Hyung. They'll be home soon!" Jungkook said, patting Jin's shoulder with a wide grin. Jin smiled back at him, worry hidden in his expression. "I hope so..." He replied, looking back at the food he had been preparing. Jungkook gasped. "Is that meat?!" He yelled, making the previously sleeping Yoongi in the other room wake up and yell profanities at him. Jin groaned of annoyance. He thought he had told Yoongi not to curse after Nari had overheard him saying something and ended up asking Jin what-"Sh**" meant. "Yoongi, no cursing! Nari could have been right here!" Jin said, scolding him while he walked into the room. "Could have? I thought she was upstairs in your room playing barbies or something..." Yoongi mumbled, yawning while scratching the back of his head. He hated waking up. "No, her and Namjoon went out to the park.. And still haven't came back..." Jin said, mumbling at the last part. Yoongi was about to go back to the couch and wait for dinner to be ready, until he somehow overheard the last part. "Wait.. They're w-what?" Yoongi asked, nervously turning to face Jin. Jin glanced at him, glancing over at Jungkook who was now seated in his seat at the table. "They're... What!?" He was now slightly yelling, furious that something could have happened. Yoongi had begun to treat Nari like a little sister that he felt as if he had to protect, as did Jimin who was upstairs with Taehyung probably playing video games. "Y-Yoongi-Hyung, calm down..." Jungkook said, nervous as to what his Hyung could do when he was angry. "Yes, t-they'll be back soon... Just don't get too angr-" "Angry!? Jin-Hyung, how could I not!?" He yelled. Silence. Yoongi sighed, now feeling bad while both of his friends weren't looking at him but instead looking down. "Where are they, I can go get them." Jin nodded. "The park near the middle of the city, left side." Yoongi muttered a thank you, before grabbing his keys and walking towards the door. "I'll be back in a few minutes,"
Just as he was about to open the door, fling it shut and run out, he was cut off from those two last steps by seeing a dumbfounded Namjoon, keys in hand and about to open the door while carrying a blank-faced Nari. Yoongi breathed a sigh of relief and immediately grabbed Nari from Namjoon, hugging her tightly. "You scared me sh**less..." He mumbled, praying no one heard it. Nari smirked behind his back. "Yoongi-Oppa said a bad word! He owes the swear jar a quarter!" When Jin had told her all about bad words and how much they usually are said-(much to Jin's despair how much they are usually said), they had agreed they would make a swear jar. Whenever Nari heard one of the boys cursing, they'd have to give the swear jar a quarter. Nari had decorated the jar, with the help of Jin of course, to look like an adorable face smiling with pink cheeks. "Namjoon!" Jin yelled from the kitchen. Namjoon paled from his currently frozen stature. "Y-Yes, J-Jinnie-Hyu-" "Don't call me Jinnie," "S-Sorry!" Nari looked over at Jin and grinned widely. "Jinnie-Oppa!" Nari yelled, reaching out towards him. Jin smiled and walked over to Yoongi who was currently holding her, and took her up into his arms. "Hello, Nari!" Jin said happily, letting Nari kiss his cheek. Namjoon mouth hung wide open. "Wait, so she gets to call you that and I don't?!" Jin scoffed. "She's my little baby, yes she does." He said, snuggling his cheek to Nari's cheek, making her giggle loudly. Jin then noticed the empty Lolipop stick in Nari's hand, and turned to Namjoon with a terrifying glare, using his hand to hide Nari's face in his shoulder and to keep her from seeing his expression, while her and Jungkook had a awkward staring contest started by the seven-year old. "Did you seriously give her candy before dinner? Namjoon!" "Jin, if you were to have seen her face when she saw them, you would have too!" "No, actually I wouldn't have! I would have secretly bought them and saved them for after dinner!" Nari wasn't really paying attention to them, she was just wondering where the pupils were in Jungkook's eyes. Well, that was until a weird smell hit her. And it seemed to have hit Jungkook too as they both looked at each other with a confused expression on their face. What was that smell? It smelled like meat... But yucky. Nari couldn't really explain it... But it smelled yucky. She looked over at the pan on the stove to see smoke coming from it. Her eyes widened and she began patting Jin's back aggressively. Well... As aggressive as she could being a underweight 7 year old girl. "Jinnie-Oppa! The kitchen!" She yelled, catching everyone's Attention. Once he looked over, Jin immediately practically threw Nari at Jungkook and ran towards the currently burning meat on the skillet. Jungkook awkwardly held Nari while glancing between Jin and the small girl in his lap. Meanwhile Nari was fine with him, now not really focused on the possibility of the dorm burning down because of Jin accidentally burning dinner, and more interested in his hands while taking them into her own and comparing the size. "Your hands are veiny..." Nari said, giggling. Jungkook just looked down at her with a grin. Jin on the other hand, had grabbed the scolding hot handle and almost threw it into the sink, immediately turning the cold water on to cool it down. Breathless, he turned to the group.
"Guys... We're ordering pizza."
