Chapter 6

Y/n P.O.V.

Class was about to end and I was gonna go off with Jay and Carlos to see them train. *Bell Rings* "Freedom!" I yelled while running out of the Class. I heard the rest of the group laughing behind me. "Alright let's go to your Tourney tryouts thing." I told the boys. "We'll catch up later, we're gonna go to our room." said Mal. "What're gonna do?" I asked them. "Plan." "Sew." they replied. "Let's go!" said Jay. "Someone's excited." I mumbled. I turned around to face them and took off.

When we got there the guys went to change into their uniform, or training uniform. I don't really know about all this. I went and sat on one of the benches where she tourney players sit when they aren't playing. I saw Jay, Carlos, Ben and others going onto their field. The club's then yelled "Jay, Ben, offense. Chad, you're defense. Taylor, you're the shooter." What's all that, wtf. Then the coach yelled towards Carlos. "Hey. Hey! Hey, you. Lost boy! Put your helmet on.Get out of the kill zone! Come on." Kill zone? Is Carlos gonna die? "Pick it up, two hands." yelled they coach. Carlos put the helmet on and the practice game started. Jay was killing it out there, while Carlos..... At least he's trying. Jay started to go towards Carlos. "Jay, It's me! It's Carlos Wait, stop, Jay. Stop! No, no, no, no. No! Ahh!" I was laughing like crazy now. "Carlos!" I yelled still laughing. "Wohoo! Oh yeah! Whoo, whoo! Oh! Oh!" Jay celebrated. "YOU! Get over here!" I ran over with the guys. "What do you call that?" Jay just looked at him. "I call that raw talent" said the coach. Jay smirked. "Come find me later. I'll show you something you haven't seen before. It's called a rule book. Welcome to the team, son." I laughed. "Ever thought about band?" he asked Carlos. I stopped laughing. Excuse me who do you think you fucking are? Carlos laughed sarcastically. "I'll work with him coach." sad Ben. "and I will help." I told him. Carlos smiled. "Alright." agreed the coach. Everyone went back to training and Chad looked at Jay sternly. Jay walked past him and his shoulder hit Chads. Jay kept walking and Chad held his shoulder an pain. "Oww..." I laughed. "Weak ass" I said not looking at him. "Shut up heart" he told me. "Fuck off bitch, you can't tell me what to do." I glared at him. He looked scared for some reason and he went back to practice. I smirked.

And hour later we were back at the school not doing anything. "So Carlos." I started. He looked at me. "Yeah?" he said. "What were you gonna ask me in the museum?" I asked him. "Oh that, well- wait oh shit." "Carlos! I didn't know you cursed." I smirked. "Oh yeah. I do. Is it bad?" he asked. "No! Do it more." I smiled and he blushed. "Alright. I got to go to class that's why. Sorry." "Oh fuck, me too!" How did I forget about my classes?! He laughed. "See ya later." "Bye!!!" I laughed.

*Timeskip to after classes*

Still Y/n P.O.V.

I reached the field with Carlos. "You excited?" I asked him. "Yeah." he replied. He's nervous.
"Aw..." I said softly. "What?" he asked. "You're nervous!" I giggled then hugged him. He always tenses up when we have physical contact. Its cute. He hugged back. "You alright there?" I giggled. "What do you mean?" he asked me. "Never mind. Where's Ben?" I asked. "Right here." we turned around quickly. "Ben don't do that!" I yelled. He laughed. "Ok Carlos, you stay here, you're gonna run over there and I'll time you." he nodded. Me and Ben ran to the machine that shoots things. "Ok, Carlos. You ready?" yelled Ben. He nodded again. He started the watch. "Go!" Oh my fucking god. Are you serious? Where did that dog even come from? A dog literally came out of no where. "Oh no..." I groaned. "What?" asked Ben as Carlos ran past us and he stopped the watch. "Carlos is afraid of dogs!" I yelled and ran after him. "Carlos! Come back!" I started to giggle.

I kept running and found Carlos hugging a tree with the dog barking at him. I laughed. "Carlos!" I giggled. "Its not funny." he whined. "Y/n? Carlos?" "We're over here Ben!" I yelled. He came running and said. "Carlos?" I laughed. "It doesn't bite right?" I asked referring to the dog "No, it doesn't." I grabbed the dog. "Y/n! No! Its gonna kill you!" "No it isn't." said Ben. "This thing is a killer! He's gonna chase you down and rip out your throat. This is a vicious, rabid pack animal! Please!" he told us. "Hey. Who told you that?" "My mom." said Carlos "Cruella?" asked Ben. "She's a dog expert, a dog yellerer." he continued. "Dude this is y/n and Carlos. Carlos, y/n this is dude. He's the campus mutt." said Ben. "He doesn't look like a vicious, rabid pack animal. Jeez. You're a good boy, aren't you? You're a good boy" said Carlos. I swear this is the cutest thing ever! Omg. "I guess you guys have it pretty rough on the island." asked Ben. "Yeah." we said at the same time. "Let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs." said Carlos. I laughed at that, then smiled. "Good boy." said Ben. We looked at him weird. "I mean, you're a good runner. You're... you're fast, you know." I laughed. "Oh yeah. Thanks" said Carlos. "Well I'm gonna leave you guys alone for a while. I'll see you later. Alright?" said Ben "Yeah." said Carlos. "Bye!" I said. Ben left. "Aww" I cooed. "What?" he asked. "When you started getting comfortable with the dog it was so cute!" I exclaimed. He blushed. "Also...... Thanks." I told him. "For?" he asked confused. "Caring. When you saw me carry the pup you looked so scared for me. It was cute." I told him. He gave me a toothy smile, like back on the island. We sat down an a log and I rested my head on his shoulder and he rested his head on my head. We stayed like that for a while and I think I feel asleep.

Carlos P.O.V.

"Hey y/n?" I called to her. But she didn't reply. "Y/n?" I looked down to face her but she was a sleep. I laughed and carefully carried her bridal style back to the dorms. "Common dude." I told him. He followed us back to Mal and Evies room. I kicked the door to see if they heard that. Seconds later Mal opened the door and looked at y/n. "Where were you guys?" she asked me. "Well, Ben and y/n helped me train for the team and this little guy came along scaring me into the woods." I said pointing to dude when I put y/n on the bed. "And we talked a little but then Ben left leaving us alone. We talked a little bit alone and then I guess y/n must've fallen asleep so-" I got cut off by Evie, "You carried her back here?!" she yelled. Y/n woke up. "What?" she shot up. "Look who's up." I smirked. "Hey weren't we in the woods?" she asked. "Yes, and Carlos carried you back!" smiled Evie. She blushed. "You did?" she asked me. "Yeah." I told her blushing. Just then Jay came in the room with a team jersey on. Me and y/n sat on the edge of the bed. "Yo-ho-ho!" he yelled. Y/n wooed and I whistled. "Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand" he asked Mal. "Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book. If I hadn't completely struck out!" she yelled? Mal was already on the bed reading her spell book. "Someone's mood just changed instantly." I said playfully. Y/n giggled. "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!" she yelled then she flicked the back of my head. "Ow!" I said. "Hey, don't do that!" said y/n slightly angered. "You guys are so goals!" said Evie. We blushed. "We can do this... If we stick together." said Jay ignoring Evies statement. "And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten..." said Mal
"To the core." we finished. There was a knock on the door. "Oh, yeah. I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course." said Evie, we all stared at her. "What?" she asked all innocently. "Hold that thought." said Mal as she went to open the door. "Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today except for Carlos and y/n. I was just wondering If you had any questions or anything... That... you needed..." he said "Not that I know of..." said Mal. "Okay. All right. Well, uh, If you need anything, just, uh..." he said starting to leave. "Oh, wait!" said Mal. "Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" she asked him. "Yeah, the whole school goes." he said back. "Wow. That is beyond exciting." He smiled at her. "Do you think that it's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the fairy godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" she asked him. There was a pause. "I wish you could. Up front It's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend." he told us. "And your girlfriend?" she asked him. "Yeah. I'm sorry." he said back. "Okay. Thanks, bye!" said Mal as she closed the door. "Oh, but, no, there's plenty of..." didn't heard the rest cause the door closed. "I think it's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend." she smirked. "And I need a love spell." she said. I grabbed the book from behind me and I threw it to her. She laughed. We headed out to make them spell.
