"Jin-oppa, do you promise to love me no matter what happens?"
"Jagi, if course I'll love you. Forever and always." She smiled gleefully, resting her head on my lap. She grabbed a small pillow on the couch and hugged it, closing her soft eyes. Her smile made me smile, knowing I'm a lucky man to have someone like her. With her around, I've been able to keep high spirits at work.
A cold breeze kissed my bare, uncovered face. I pulled up my scarf Y/n made. She was very skillful, doing basically everything. My smile turned into a frown when I thought about her. Her smile. Her happiness. Her beauty. Her perfection. I stopped by a street vender, buying a small bouquet of flowers. After paying, I thanked the kind elder lady and continued on. I passed a jewelry store, staring at a certain necklace on display.
"Omo~! I really like this necklace, but I don't want to waste your money on me over something like this." She pouted, but then smiled. "I'm happy with you." Y/n smiled, looking up at me and hugging my right arm. I ruffled her hair slightly, careful not to mess it up.
"You're adorable, and that's why I love you." I kissed the top of her head. She squealed into my coat, causing me to giggle.
A tear found its way out of my eye. I took a deep breath and wiped it away. I didn't have anything to do today as it was our day off. With my busy schedule, I don't know how Y/n could be happy. I wasn't happy because I had to leave her home alone most days.
"Jagi~ I have to go to work," I said with a small frown. She walked up to me and pinched my cheeks upward into a smile.
"Don't frown, you'll get wrinkle all over your beautiful face," she spoke gently, pecking my lips afterwards. "Hey, I found a new recipe and it looks delicious. We should make it tonight, ok?" I nodded. Y/n clasped her hands together and squealed with joy. We loved making dishes together, especially new dishes.
Later that night when I came home, I saw she was in the kitchen preparing all the ingredients.
"Jin-oppa~ come," she said excited grabbing my hand and dragging me into the kitchen. She tied my light pink with darker pink polka dots and small bows where the straps meet the apron on before tying her matching apron on. Her smile never left her bright face as we cooked our meal.
After it baked in the oven, I put on my kitchen mittens and grabbed the sizzling hot dish, which smelt delicious.
