"Y/n, what's wrong? Are you sick?"

Y/n nodded her said slowly. Silence built up between us. Her soft whisper broke it. "I have cancer." My heart fell. "The doctors said I didn't have long because of where it was. I-I'm scared."

I saw a drop from above hit her face, only then realising it came from me.

Tears formed from Jin's eyes. They slowly fell down his face, feeling like little icicles from the cold. He didn't realise it.

"H-how long?" I stuttered.

"A week." I picked her up and held her tight, wanting to fight back the tears but couldn't. The sun was still setting over the city.

"Y/n, I will take the week off and we will do everything together." She smiled softly, then turning into a frown. For the first time since dating her, she frowned. A depressed frown. Not a small argument frown, but a sad stricken frown.

Jin closed his eyes, the tears slowly stopped trickling down. Jungkook spotted Jin passed out in the cemetery.

"Aish, hyung. It's like 3 degrees outside. Why is your jacket on the ground?" Jungkook kept asking, only to receive nothing from Jin. I may be strong, but picking you up and dragging you out is damn impossible hyung, Jungkook thought. He called Namjoon, who was the closest, yet an hour away. Sighing in frustration, Jungkook picked up Jin's jacket, only to feel it was damp from the ground. He threw it on Jin to try to heat him up.

"Jin-oppa~" Y/n called for me, shaking me from my sleep. She rested on the hospital bed. It had already been a week. A week with very little rest, a week with a shattered heart.

"Ne, Y/n~"

"Saranghae~" she cooed very softly with a weak voice.

I smiled, holding her cold, fragile hand in mine. "Saranghae~" I kissed her on the forehead, she kissed me back on the cheek.

"When I'm gone, don't forget my promise~"

"Never in a million years plus infinity."

She smiled, her eyelids fell, and so did her head. The colour of her skin started to pale. The machines in the room started to beep. My heart shattered into nothingness. Frozen in the moment, I couldn't hear the doctors trying to move me, my tears blocking my view. My heart stopped pounding. The love of my life was gone.
