Salem

"Bang!"
Something slammed far off in the distance, it almost sounded like a suitcase hitting the floor.
"Hey there Delilah."
Someone sang moments later, a guy.
His voice echoed throughout the white walls.
It was the same boy who's voice I had heard earlier that day.
I decided to test the waters.
After gaining enough courage I darted forward. My legs carried me as fast as they could, and something strange happened.
"Ahhh!"
I screamed out as something threw me backwards, basically to where I had began running seconds earlier.
"What the heck?"
I questioned out loud, my voice traveled and slowly disappeared into the nothingness.
"Ooh it's what you do to me!"
The voice picked up singing again, but it almost sounded close.
I tilted my head to glance sideways, but nothing.
"Ya Andrew! I'm coming!"
The voice boomed, everything went still.

I shot up sweaty as ever and studied my surroundings, I wasn't in my bed anymore.
I seemed to be walking towards the exit of an airport.
A wave of heat hit me once I was outside.
People ran all around me about hitting me with their belongings.
Somehow I wasn't in control, but managed to not run into anyone.
"Oh my god! It's Shawn!"
I looked over to see a group of teen girls starting over for me, well for this so called boy named Shawn.
"Shawn! It's Shawn Mendes!"
Another girl screamed out.
Shawn Mendes, as in the famous Canadian pop singer?
"Can we get a picture?"
Another asked, somehow he ended up nodding and I noticed a hand reach for one of the girls phones, but the hand in fact didn't belong to me.
"Salem!"
I shook my head and closed my eyes.
A little afraid of opening them again, I slowly peered through to see that I was back in my bed in my messy room.
I sighed loudly and climbed out of bed, my mind whirling.
"I was asleep."
I repeated to myself over and over again, mostly trying to convince myself that what took place was all just a dream.
In reality, I knew it had happened, but what exactly was happening?
I started digging through my closet in search of a cute outfit for school.
I ended up choosing a light blue knee high casual dress.
I left my ash colored hair basically how it was, well after quickly running a brush through it.
I quickly hurried downstairs and made my way into the kitchen.
For some reason a banana was my choice of breakfast.
I really never liked bananas in general, but for some reason I felt like I should give it a try.
"Beep beep!"
Cara's car horn blared, I practically ran for the front door and hurried out.
"Bye guys!"
I called over my shoulder before shutting the front door lightly behind me.
I hurried for Cara's car, and after climbing in I turned to face her.
"I need to tell you something and it might sound crazy."
I told her after a moment of quietly gathering my thoughts.
She looked at me as if she were expecting me to have gone full out insane.
