When We Rise(Completed)

~Crystals POV~

I didn't get much sleep last night, today we have our last battle against the Mayans, I don't know how long this war is going to last. I just hope that we not only get Chibs back, but Nity as well, I miss her, she's my best friend and the last few days without her have been hard. Yesterday Opie and I hid three bags of guns, knives, and enough ammo to last us two weeks, along with four large first aid kits. When it comes to the guns and knives it's always better to have extra, the last thing we need is to be in the middle and run out of weapons. As far as the first aid we want to be ready for whatever comes at us, and if anything the kits are just extra measure. We put all of the supplies in the cave along with clothes for Nity and Chibs, as well as their cycles for after the war. I sighed getting out of bed, and getting ready, I put my hair in its usual low pigtails, before doing my make-up, keeping it simple with just eyeliner and mascara. I went to my dresser pulling out a pair of black ripped up jeans, before going to my closet pulling out a black army shirt with a camo flannel and my black combat boots. I sighed looking in the mirror before pulling on my leather jacket, and putting two guns in the inside pockets. I put two small pocket knives in each of my boots before clipping a pair to my jeans, and putting another gun in my waistband. I walked to the living room and looked at Jax, he sighed and I knew that it was time. We went out to our cycles hopping on and heading to the club to meet up with the rest of the guys. When Jax and I got there everyone was ready to go, I saw the guys ready and strong, I sighed as they all looked at me.

"Let's do this."

They nodded their heads following Jax and I out to the van, we got in and headed to the cabin. We wanted to get there early so we could be ready for the Mayans when they showed up, we waited for them for about an hour, and when they showed up they brought Chibs out and he looked fine. However when Nity came out she looked broken, beaten, she had cuts all over her body and face was busted pretty bad, I sighed going to Nity and untying her hands along with Chibs. He took off his shirt handing it to Nity helping her pull it over her head, it went down to the middle of her thigh, I slipped a gun into their hands without the Mayans noticing. I looked back at the Mayans and looked at their president before pulling the trigger and watching him drop dead. It was then that shots rang out, the club and I ran into the woods, Nity stayed close to Chibs, he helped her through the woods until we got to the cave. They looked around for a moment before sitting down, I grabbed the duffle bag throwing it at their feet. Nity sighed, shaking her head before grabbing the bag and pulling out the clothes I brought for her. She took off Chibs shirt handing it back to him, he smirked at her giving her a kiss before pulling it on.

~Serenity's POV~

After everything went down and we ended up in this cave, I sat down and Chibs sat next to me. Crystal threw a duffle bag at my feet, I sighed, shaking my head, grabbing the bag and pulling out the clothes she brought me. I stood up taking off Chibs' shirt handing it back to him, he smirked, giving me a kiss before pulling his shirt back on. I pulled on the dark wash skinny jeans, and button up flannel tucking it into my jeans before pulling on my knee high brown boots and my leather jacket that counts as a cut. I went to pull out the make-up bag to fix my face, but Chibs grabbed my wrist shaking his head.

"You don't need that."

I looked down with tears coming from my eyes, he lifted my chin making me look into his eyes.

"You're beautiful."

I shook my head.

"I'm broken, and used, and everyone's been saying that once an ol' lady is used then she's gone, I love you Chibs, I don't want to lose you."

He pulled me into his chest hugging me closely, careful of my sore cut up body, he pulled away taking my beaten face in his hands.

"I love you, I'm never going to leave you Serenity, you're my ol' lady and that's all there is to it."

I wrapped my arms around his neck hugging him close before pulling away and giving him a kiss. I gave him a small smile and he kissed my forehead, before pulling away, I put two guns in my inside pockets of my jacket. I put four knives in my boots, before strapping on my leg and hip holsters that had two gun slots and two more slots for knives. I walked around the cave until I came across my blue baby, a smile came to my face as I realized that the Mayans left it without a scratch. I was pulled from my thoughts by gunshots ringing out, I ran towards the entrance of the cave only to be grabbed and pulled back. I was turned around and my eyes met Chibs brown ones, he put his pointer finger to his lips telling me to be quiet. I turned around and watched as three Mayans came our way, I pulled myself from Chibs hold, grabbing a knife in each of my hands. I advanced on two of them slitting their throat feeling their blood trickle down my hands. I sighed as another came up behind me, I quickly turned letting the first two fall to the cave floor. I jammed the knife into his gut and watched as he doubled over, I twisted the knife and all I felt was emptiness, I felt nothing. After I killed my three the rest of the club and I hopped on our cycles chasing the rest of the Mayans down, I watched and felt nothing. I was completely numb, when we found the guy who assaulted me Chibs let me have him. I walked up to him and he smirked at me, I shook my head grabbing my knife carving out his heart, I threw it to the side and looked at the guys who looked kind of green. The next guy was the one who cut me up, scared me, mentally and physically, I shook my head at him and closed my eyes remembering everything he did to me. I looked him in the eye shaking my head before taking my knife, I started carving around his heart before dragging it down his chest and cutting off his dick, balls and all. He started bleeding out and I figured I could give him a few more moments of pain by carving out his heart and letting it fall next to his brother. In that moment I ended the Mayans, I took out the last of the Mayans, I looked at Chibs and that's when everything hit me. I fell to the ground feeling everything, all the pain, the hurt, the hatred, everything, and I wanted it all to go away. Chibs came over wrapping his arms around me holding me close as the tears streamed down my face. When I knew that the tears were gone for now I stood up pushing Chibs away. I looked at him and saw hurt in his eyes, I sighed looking down, giving him a small kiss, before hopping on my cycle and heading home. I parked my cycle in the garage before locking up and going into the house taking a shower. I washed my hair and shaved before getting out and pulling on a pair of black sweat pants and a spaghetti strapped tank top. I plugged in my phone crawling into bed and trying to sleep, only it never came, soon Chibs came home. He took a shower before coming into the room in nothing but his boxers, he crawled into bed wrapping his arm around me holding me close. He kissed my cheek and I smiled a bit before rolling over and giving him a kiss, he looked into my eyes.

"I love you Serenity, please try to get some sleep alright, I'm right here, no matter what."

I gave a small smile nodding my head.

"I love you."

I knew that I had to say it at least a dozen more times before everything changes, before he gets tired and leaves.

~Crystals' POV~

After everything went down with Nity I knew that things from now on we're going to be hard. I knew that I couldn't tell anyone anything yet, I needed to make sure that everyone was alright, Mainly Nity, she went to a dark place today and I just wish that she was back. I have a secret and I can't tell anyone, not even Jax, not until everything is okay again and this secret is going to break my heart.
