When We Rise(Completed)

~1 Year Later, Waking Up, Who Are You?, Babies, Remembering~

~Chibs POV~

It's been a year since Nity went off the bridge since then a lots happened, first off that night she went into a coma and hasn't woken up since. However because of the coma she was able to hold the babies full term, and had a C-section on their due date. We have a boy and a girl, they were brought into this world only a few weeks ago, everyone's hoping that todays the day she wakes up. Somehow I have a feeling that today's the day, and according to Crystal she has the same feeling. Since everything happened I hardly leave the hospital but when I do she's never alone, Crystal, or Tig is with her. When I leave I usually go to get Elora and bring her up so she can see her mom for a while. Elora has gotten so big, she's walking and talking in full sentences now, she's an amazing girl, just like her mom. I was pulled from my thoughts by Nity moving her head and her bright green eyes opening. I smiled clicking the button to get the doctor in here while I tried to keep her from fighting the tube. The doctor rushed in taking the tube out and checking her over before asking her questions.

"Do you know who you are?"

She nodded her head.

"Serenity Becks."

I looked down, shaking my head as the doctor and her looked at me.

"Do you know who he is?"

She looked at me a moment and all I saw in her eyes was blank, she shook her head.

"No I'm sorry, I know I should, he looks familiar but I don't, I don't know."

I looked away with tears in my eyes before taking a picture from my wallet of her and Elora, I showed it to her.

"Do you know who this is, who the little girl is?"

"She looks like me, and you, but I don't remember having a child."

I looked at the doctor shaking my head before walking out of the room, I grabbed my phone calling Crystal.

"Hello?"

I let out a shaky breath trying to hold in my tears.

"Chibs, what's wrong, is she okay?"

"She woke up, but she doesn't, she doesn't remember who I am, who Elora is, you're our best hope. If she doesn't remember anything, or anyone from here, she'll remember you, I need you here."

She sighed and I knew she was nodding her head trying to fight tears.

"Alright, I'm on my way."

"Thanks Crystal."

With that we hung up and I walked back into the room, Serenity looked at me with a worried look before looking at the rings on her finger.

"You're my husband aren't you?"

I looked at her nodding my head, a small speck of hope filling in my heart.

"Yeah."

"And the little girl in the picture with me, she's our daughter?"

I nodded my head once again.

"Yeah, and you had twins while you were in the coma, I haven't named them, that's something we did together. When you had Elora, we named her together, I wanted to wait for you to wake up."

She nodded her head.

"Elora, sounds like a strong Scottish name, I think I know why I married you, that accent's enough to kill."
