Okay so sorry if I hadn't updated in a while. There was absolutely NO WiFi at my house for the longest time. Also, one of my friends told me the book is confusing and to be honest I agree with her so for this chapter I'm going to try and make everything make sense. If it doesn't make sense to you I'd like it if you told me and not keep it to yourself. Thanks!

It was the next day and I definitely wanted to talk to Mika to make sense of things. Everything was so confusing, especially with the fact that not everything was shared at the hospital. There were so many hidden details that I needed to know. So many important details.

I walked into Mika's dark room and looked over at his bed. He's was sleeping, which was a surprise to me, but with all that's been going on, he really needed it.

I walked to his bed and sat by his feet. Even in the dark I could see the bags under his eyes. It saddened me a little to know why he never slept. His past was as terrible as mine. I stared at him for a while, only to realize that he was even more pale than yesterday. I turned on the side lamp and pulled the sheets off of him. The bandages were a dark red color because of how much blood he shed.

I checked his pulse and I barely felt it. I sighed and shook him lightly.

"Mika wake up." He didn't move. "Mika come on you have to explain things." I shook him harder bit he still didn't budge. I checked his pulse and didn't feel anything. "MIKA!" He jolted awake and I let out a breath of relief.

"What?.." He rubbed his eyes and I noticed that they wee bloodshot. He's been crying.

"Um I know you are tired and everything but I'm so confused about everything right now. Could explain things further or at least answer some of my questions?" He sighed and sat against the head of the bed.

"What do you want to know?"

"Yesterday when you said you were born into a vampire family, I thought that vampires didn't exist. How is it that you're a vampire? And if you are a vampire, then how come you are cutting yourself if you can't get hurt."

"Okay vampires do exist but they aren't like the ones in the stories. We want to make peace with humans but humans don't want to make peace with us. We may drink blood but we drink the blood of prisoners or animals. Vampires can also get hurt but they can heal. If the wound is too deep, it can not be healed. If a vampire tried to heal a deep wound, the wound would widen."

"Oh, okay. Next question. Where was your mom when your dad started abusing you?"

"My mom died when she have birth to me."

"Oh....um..what happened to your dad? You couldn't have gotten in the orphanage by yourself."

"A neighbor was tired of hearing my screams and cries, so he called the police. The police came to my house in the middle of my beating and arrested my father so they sent me to and orphanage." Mika rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"Okay enough about that. Why were you so rude to me when I came here?"

"Its part of stress. When you don't sleep for a long time it kind of does that to you." That explained everything. There was one thing I was forgetting.

"Hey, I'm sorry for forcing you into sex the other day. I just wanted you to notice me cause you were always locked up in your study room and I had no one to talk to." Mika stared at me.

"Its okay..." He had something in his eyes that I couldn't define.

"It is not okay! I forced you into sex! How is that okay?! I shouldn't have-" a pair a lips crashed onto mine. I sat there, eyes wide, not responding. Mika pulled away and smiled slightly.

"I need some rest. Don't you agree?" I nodded slowly then I got up and slowly left the room.

Things just got a lot more confusing.
