(A/N) Hello! I'm so sorry I haven't updated this in like forever!!! As promised here it is!

Time passed steady, it has been three days since my first night staying with the brothers, I learned so much about the City, from the Triads to the United Council. The City was not in absolute peace yet, the three main triads, the Triple Threat Triad, Red Monsoon Triad and the Agni Kai Triad. All three triads are in absolute rivalry, Mako and Bolin were former members of the Triple Threat Triad, they only did inside jobs like accounting. I wasn't expecting it from the two, but Mako told me he did what had to be done to protect his little brother.

The government was ruled by The United Republic Council. It was a deliberative assembly composed of non-elected representatives from the Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, Air Nation, and both the Northern and Southern Water Tribes. The Council discussed governing and political affairs inside the City Hall, along with acting as the commanding body of the United Forces. The Council also served as judge and jury in the case of important trials.

The sun shined through the huge glass windows, I turned my head from side to side like a turtle ignoring the sun's bright rays. Lazyness was stronger than I thought, the feeling of warmth under a mattress, sinking my head in the soft pillow felt blissful, but I had to wake up soon. Slowly I opened my half-shut lids, blinking and adjusting my sight to the empty room. Usually Bolin would take Nuuka and Pabu for a walk and Mako would run errands, however this time. Mako was still in the couch, in deep slumber. I moved down the bunk slowly trying not to wake him up, I rubbed my eyes and yawned like a dog, I noticed Mako mumbling in his dreams, it was funny. I walked quietly towards the bathroom, the door was already halfway open, I slid through and locked it behind me.

After washing up, I decided to make breakfast for sleeping firebender, he deserves some rest, Mako tends to worry a lot, he tries his heat to keep Bolin out of trouble. Best thing I can do while staying here is help as much as possible, also... I may have lied about my scoming to the City. Recalling those memories I had back at home was harsh, my abusive   father, my delusional mother and my spoiled sister. "Crap!" I said in a low voice. The egg i made was almost overcooked, That should teach me to not drift away so often. I placed the food on the table  in front of the couch, slowly I reached over to Mako's ear.

"Mako. Wake up, breakfast is ready." I whispered. He pushed his head into the pillow mumbling me to go away. "Fine." I said. An evil grin plastered on my face, I snapped my finger and moved towards the sink. "Last chance Mako, wake up or I'm going to dump cold water on you!" I said in a threatening tone. Still, he brushed me off. "You asked for it City boy." I barked. Wasting no time, I adopted my bending stance and drove a huge amount of water showering it the sleeping firebender. "C-C-COOOOOLD!!!" He screamed in desperation.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud, he kept jumping around like a grasshopper. I couldn't help but burst out laughing like a maniac. His drenched shirt revealed his chest and he cried out yelling how cold it was,  the city boy took his shirt off revealing his torso, obviously because its completely wet. Shortly he settled down and shot me a killer look. I shrugged innocently.

He started taking big steps towards me, I moved back slowly, but my back was shortly met with the tall window. "C-come on Mako, i-it was a joke" I wobbled. He didn't respond, his eyes frightened me, reminding me of my fathers evil glare. With each step he took, my body was trembling. Blackout."Get away from me!" I shut my eyes yelling in complete fear. I felt him stop, I opened my eyes to see him frozen. His whole body in a huge bag of frozen water.

I panicked, looking left and right, my heart was beating out of my chest, I was shooketh. (A/N: I HAD TO SORRY LOL) Upon realized that I froze him from the water in the water tank which was under the sink, immediately i released him.

He fell on his knees coughing water out of his lungs, I tried to approach him but as soon I touched him, he slapped my hand and yelled. "What is wrong with you?!" His eyes were filled with rage, I froze. His words pierced my heart, my eyes were getting wet, I couldn't hold the tears back. Emotions took over me. I bursted out crying, covering my face in shame, my tears were streaming like a waterfall. Mako got on his feet facing me, he walked up to me slowly and pulled me closer to him wrapping his arms around me. His embrace was warmed up quick, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped himself around my frail body. I slammed my head against his chest sobbing like a child, the smell of his wet  chest invaded my nostrils, with every tear fall, my memories of abuse were slowly withering away. The world around me melted away, I squeezed him back, not wanting the moment.

I found where I belonged, that feeling of unconditional love. Or is it? "M-Mak-" I was interrupted by the slams on the hatch beneath us. of the door face planted next to my feet. I wiped my tears looking up to the boy who had me between his arms, our eyes locked for a moment, but we quickly moved away from each other as Bolin was getting up almost facing us. "Are you two okay?" Bolin pointed out curiously. He looks around and looks right back at us. "Mako, where is your shirt ? And why is the whole apartment soaked with water!!?" Bolin yelled. "It was a-" Mako said before I interrupted him. "It was a pipe leak Bolin." I assured him. "I'll take care of the water, it was my fault." I croaked.
