I unhooked my bra and it felt like the most comfortable thing ever. Well, maybe it is.

I'm already at home, and just like yesterday, wala masyadong pinagawa si halimaw. Again, I don't know what to feel about it.

"Wait, bakit hindi niyo i-report?" Cienne asked while brushing her teeth inside the open bathroom. Nasabi ko na kay Cienne yung mysterious photo na nakuha nung mysterious person of Ara and I.

"I've already considered that, eh, ayaw naman ni halimaw." I said as I sank back to the couch. "Ewan ko dun, but if there's one thing I know about Ara, it's her stubbornness. Ayaw niyang things doesn't go her way, so, gora na lang. Bahala siya."

I hear Cienne gargling and spitting the water from her mouth.

"So kung ganun," I see her coming out of the bathroom. "Edi, papabayaan niyo na lang?"

I shrugged. "Ewan. Siguro."

"Haaaay," Cienne exclaimed and sat on the couch with me. She leaned her head on my shoulders and I did the same on her head.

"Oh, why do you seem sad na naman?" I asked without looking at her.

She took a deep breath. "I miss Cams. I miss my family."

I sat up as she removed her head on my shoulders. Tinignan ko siya, making sure na ma-p'process niya lahat ng sasabihin ko. "Ciennang, if you really miss them, then talk to them. Don't avoid them, especially 'yung kambal mo. One month na kayo 'di nag-uusap, I bet that's the longest time you haven't talked to her. Besides, what's done is done. Nandun na siya sa States, and, you're here. There's no use being sad about something na nasa past naman na."

"Ang lalim naman nun," She frustratingly remarked.

Napatawa na lang ako and pulled her in a tight hug. "Love you, Ciennang!"

She patted my back. "Love you too, Mikang. And, thank you."

"No problem. Tara, tulog na tayo! May pasok pa 'ko bukas, baka maging kamukha ko na si halimaw kung late pa ko matutulog."

She laughed and went with me to our rooms.

The next day was just as normal as ever. Except, it's not.

"MIKANG! Nasa baba na si bes!!" Cienne yelled from the living room.

I slipped on my white converse shoes and put on my watch. It read 7:28, and I had to be at the office at exactly 8:00, which was okay since it didn't take too long to get to the office.

Lumabas na ko ng room ko and saw Cienne watching Cake Boss, of course, in full volume. Typical Cienne.

"BYE CIENNE! LABYU!" I said as I opened the door.

"Bye! Ingaaat!"

I went down the front door of the condo and saw Jerome waiting outside in front of his car... with a white flower in one hand. I walked towards him with a confused look.

"Okay, alam kong ayaw mo ng flowers but I didn't buy this, I swear, I picked it up sa nadaanan kong garden kanina 'cause this flower reminded me of you and pwede mo namang itapon after kasi--" He kept explaining and I think it took him a solid 5 minutes.

I pursed my lips to hide my laughter.

"Dami mo sinabi, ma-l'late na ko oh," I jokingly commented as I pointed on my watch. I walked towards him and grabbed the flower on his hand. 'Di ako sure kung anong flower 'to but it really looked beautiful. Tinitigan ko muna 'yung flower before ako sumakay ng kotse niya. I saw Jerome grinning widely while riding on the driver's seat.
