Jakes POV:

Finally, I had reached my house and as soon as I pulled up the driveway I leapt out of the car so fast I didn't even turn off the ignition. My hands began to shake as if I had consumed three cups of coffee as I attempted to place the key in the door. The second the door flew open without the key turning the lock, I knew all the suspicions I had were right. Damon had taken Annabelle.
The first floor looked untouched, except closely on the carpet I could see the distinct lines as if someone had been dragged across it on their way to the door. I bounded up the steps to the room where Annabelle was staying, and my fist flew through the wall. The desk was knocked on its side, the bed had been completely flipped, and what had been left of her hair I presume was littering the floor in clumps. The corner of her bed frame was the most ghastly thing to view, as it was covered in thick red blood, some crusted over and some still glistening with a wet consistency. In the corner of my eye I noticed Annabelle's phone laying next to the wall, I reached down and picked it up. Just as I had suspected, Damon had contacted her before his 'visit' was made. *Hello Sweetheart, you thought you could get rid of me that easily? Remember that cabin we went to on our honeymoon? I'm sure you would love to go back.* I remember the cabin! they had rented the family cabin for the week of their honeymoon to spend it out in the woodlands in order to truly relax. Relaxation, however, was not at all what was occurring there now I believe.
Racing back out to the car I jumped in and sped off towards the cabin, if I took the back roads I would be able to get there in just over a half hour. Please Annabelle, please get through this. I thought to myself as I drove.
