Narrators POV
As you head to the Smoothie Shack with her friends, Ethan heads home. (Y/N) simply can't get that boy out of her mind, but she must focus, she has to work on her music project.
"So, (Y/N), see anybody you might want to date at school today?", giggles Alice questioningly.
"No, I told you guys, I can't get in a relationship where would this friendship group be without an awkward fifth wheel"
"(Y/N/N) you can't be a fifth wheel forever, c'mon, it feels like them awkward family dinners where everyone is asking if you have a boyfriend yet", chuckles Tyler
"Well, I do have one question, who is that boy that was with Mark and Seán at lunch?"
"OOOOOO (Y/N) CRUSHES ON ETHAN!!", exclaims Riley and Phoebe at the same time.
"No, I just wondered his name, jesus is that too much to ask?" You say giving a little giggle.
"Yeah whatever (Y/N), you'd totally suit his surname too, (Y/N) Nestor", giggles Alice.
"You both have YouTube channels too! A match made in heaven", says Tyler.
"Guys, I post vlogs on that channel for you guys while I'm away, I don't actually mean to be gaining subscribers the way I am, it's easier making a video than facetiming you guys 24/7", you say, but you still wonder what Ethan's channel is called. Next thing you know you have a hand in your face.
"Hello! What do you want?"
"Oh, uh just my usual" You say and hand your money to Alice.
"No, it's my turn to pay, well actually it's not but you've missed out on this for a month so I'll pay for you" She says, handing you the money back. Then you go sit down at your usual table and wait for Alice.
"So, uh, what's this kids YouTube name?" You ask, curious to see what type of videos he uploads.
"Oh, he has two, one is like CrankyVlogs and the other one is Crank something or other", says Tyler, "I know I'm his best friend and all but he only really talks about CrankyVlogs because he posts there everyday."
"Everyday, wow that's some dedication right there", you say smiling, you know it isn't easy to edit videos and have something interesting to go up each day, you struggle to get two videos out a week. You then proceed to pull out your phone to see what content he uploads.
"What is up my Cranky Crew, it's Ethan from CrankGamePlays and today I am here with my good friend Mark (AN~ I know he's not with Mark in this video but whatever) and today we are going to be doing the 50 Shades of Grey Challenge!"
Well, as you can see this guy knows what he is doing, you still call your subs 'friends', mainly because you aimed your videos at your friends. As you continue watching a couple of his vlogs, you comment on his most recent video, 'uploaded 13 minutes ago, 103 views', you comment 'Wow dude, this vlogs are awesome, I love your style, hmu on twitter (Your twitter name)'
"Oooh looks like (Y/N) is getting ready for a relationship", laughs Phoebe. Just then your phone dings, it's a follow from Ethan, so you follow him back and he messages you, but you know if you look at it now you will be teased.
"No, I just want to know what software he uses for editing" You say honestly, "he's really good at it"
"Yeahh sure, (Y/N/N) wants the Ethan D" teases Riley
"Oh my god, you guys are disgusting" You laugh, just then Alice comes back over.
"What did I miss?"
"Oh noth-" Somebody interrupted you.
"(Y/N) has a crush on Ethan" Riley spits out.
"N-no I do not, he seems like a nice person that I would like to be friends with" You stutter, embarrassed at the fact your friends would say such things in a public place, just then you hear the door open and laughter, you turn around and see him.
<<Switching so we are narrating Ethan now>>
He had finished practicing the guitar solo, almost nailing it straight away and the was headed to Marks, but when he arrived he was taken straight to the Smoothie Shack.
"But you guys said we were playing Gmod" Ethan said sadly.
"Yeah well we know what you are like with new people, and (Y/N) is here, she's cool, I promise", Mark says reassuring Ethan
"But how do you know? You guys have spoke to her as much as I have" Ethan says.
"Yeah well we have watched her YouTube videos", Ethan turned his head to face Seán.
"She does YouTube?"
"Yeah, like you but better, except she only posts twice a week." Seán says. Just then Ethan's phone buzzes and it's a comment from a channel called (Your channel name), it reads, 'Wow dude, this vlogs are awesome, I love your style, hmu on twitter (Your twitter name)', so Ethan goes and follows you on twitter, you instantly follow back and he messages you.
'Hey, it's Ethan from CrankyVlogs, I'm assuming you are (Your channel name), well, I'm doing as you asked, haha, I watched a couple of your videos, they're pretty cool, you seem like a nice girl.'
He knew he recognized you, but couldn't figure out where from, he couldn't tell it was you who had commented on his videos at all.
"Ooooo, CrankyVlogs on the rise to being famous, you getting yourself a girlfriend there Ethan?" Mark chuckles, quickly glancing at Ethan's phone.
"I'm doing better than what you are with Amy" And with that, they all erupt into laughter and walk into the Smoothie Shack.
"Hey boys! I have your drinks here already", says Alice cheerfully.
"That's why there is three extra" You mumble and Tyler lightly hits your arm.
"Ouch Tyler, what was that fooor?" You jokingly ask whining as Ethan, Seán and Mark sit down at the table.
"Hi guys!" Exclaims Seán. Then everybody exchanges their hellos. Ethan squeezing in next to you. You decide now is the most awkward time to check your phone so you may as well do it. As you pull out your phone and open your twitter DMs, smiling at what Ethan has sent you, luckily he's too busy drinking to notice what you're smiling at though so you quickly reply to him.
'Yeah, I really like the style of your vlogs, mind me asking what editing software you use?' You hit send and then quickly put your phone face down on the table and sip you drink, then your phone buzzes again.
'Yeah, I use Adobe Premier, no problem asking, I love helping other YouTubers out :P'
Then your phone buzzes again.
"Oh my god, are you two seriously messaging each other?!" Seán says, you give a little schuckle and Ethan shakes his head.
"No, I'm messaging (your channel name), why?", he questions, right then the whole table burst into laughter.
"That's (Y/N) you dumbass", Mark says giggling.
"Oh, well uh-" Then he's interrupted by his phone buzzing again, and when he looks at the screen he sighs. "Sorry guys, mom wants me home I have to go", he quickly scurries out of the Smoothie Shack with his drink and goes home.
After an hour or so of just chatting to your old friends, and your two new great friends Mark and Seán your phone buzzes.
"Alice, your parents want you and Tyler home but your phones are off." You sigh, "I have to go too"
And with that, everybody heads home.
AN~ Okay, so I wanted to make you and Ethan chat, but I didn't want them to really meet properly, I'm saving that.
