It's Official

Ethan's POV

I don't care if it's Monday, I woke up with a smile on my face today and that's all that matters. I really hope (Y/N) did yesterday too. I heard my phone buzz and wondered who was messaging me this early in the morning.

Prettiest Girl In Town: Good morning handsome, I'm going to get us coffees this morning.

Me: Awh, how sweet of you, I'm going in the shower see you later :P

Prettiest Girl In Town: Ikr, I'm just the best girlfriend ever! Anyway, don't forget to be outside when I pick you up.

Me: Yeah yeah, I think you also forgot to mention that I am the best boyfriend ever ;). See you later smelly.

Prettiest Girl In Town: Love you too, bye Erica.

I giggled at our little conversation and got in the shower, I needed to look nice today if I was going to look anything next to (Y/N), she looks perfect all the time and I just look meh on a good day.

Once I was out of the shower I styled my hair instead of leaving it in an emo fringe, I even put cologne on today. Wowie. I put my nice skeleton t-shirt on and my orange coat and headed downstairs.

"Where are you going so early?" My mom quizzed.

"Oh, I came down for break fast, then I'm gonna go brush my teeth." I answered back.

"Are you okay? Do you have a temperature?" My mom joked putting a hand on my forehead, I just laughed at her and went and made myself a bowl of cereal.

I heard my phone buzz in the kitchen when I was on my way back downstairs, I ran into the kitchen and checked it.

Prettiest Girl In Town: I'm almost here Erica.

I giggled and put my shoes on.

"What're you laughing at? You're extremely happy this morning, is it because I'm letting you go with (Y/N)?" I looked up at her before grabbing my bag.

"You are?" I felt my grin get wider.

"Yes, I am, now go before you end up being late." She ruffled my hair and pushed me forward sloghtly.

"Mooom, my hair." I said fixing it and swinging my backpack over my shoulder.

"Will you be coming back home or are you going out?" My mom asked as I opened the door.

"I think I'll be going out if that's okay?" I looked at her and saw (Y/N) pull up out the corner of my eye.

"That's fine sweetie, have a nice day now." She gave a slight wave.

Your POV

"Bye Mom!" I heard Ethan shout as he shut the door, I had the windows rolled down because my car was far too warm, so I could hear what he said. He climbed in the car and picked the coffee up before giving me a playful punch.

"Rude, I bought that coffee for you I'll be expecting the money back." I joked.

"Why didn't you tell me I could go with you guys?" He asked and I smirked.

"I was gonna leave it until last minute but oh well, good morning anyway." I smiled.

"Morning, you look really nice today." I looked down at myself, I had my hair in two braids, I had an oversized hoodie, skinny jeans and tatty converse on.

"I mean I don't but whatever, you do though, you're definitely the good looking one in this relationship." I saw him look at me with a disappointed face as I pulled away from outside of his house.

"Don't say that, you look really nice, and nah, you're the beautiful one." He said making me smile, I saw him plug his phone into the aux cord and smiled as (F/S) came on. We both started singing along and dancing, him more than me but still.

Once we arrived at school I smiled and took the keys out of my ignition.

"Why are you happy to be here?" He looked at me while getting out of my car.

"Uh maybe because I won't be fifth wheeling, or ninth wheeling for that matter." I said getting out, I shut the door and started walking into the hell hole.

"Fair enough at least Mark and Seán will be off my backs about getting a girlfriend now." I looked over at him then looked down at his hand. He noticed and grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers together. 

"Did you tell the others we're together?" I asked, realizing I hadn't.

"N-no, I sort of just muted the group chat." He looked at me. "Did you?" I shook my head.

"Nope, I muted it too." I smiled. I saw a few people looking at us as we walked through the car park but then I saw Tyler's car pull up in his usual spot. "C'mon, we'll go tell these four at least." I said as Alice, Riley, Tyler and Phoebe all came out of the car.

"Okay but what about Mark, Seán, Signe and Amy?" I nodded over to them walking towards Tyler's car. 

"And them four too I guess." I shrugged and walked with Ethan towards them all.

"Morning." Ethan said before sipping his coffee. I sipped mine too but nobody seemed to notice we were holding hands.

"Good morning you guys!" Alice said, her usual perky self. Every body else sort of mumbled. I looked up at Ethan and he looked down at me, I could tell by his look that he was saying 'Shall we kiss?' so I shrugged and pecked him on the lips.

"WOAH WHAT?!" I heard Mark say.

"What? You guys didn't tell meeee." Phoebe jokingly whined.

"Ew keep it PG." I heard Seán joke and we all started laughing.

"At least they weren't making out the first day they properly met." I heard Riley say.

"Shush you, we were drunk." Amy said blushing.

"Yeah, we were drunk." Signe said also blushing.

"To be fair, Ethan and (Y/N) kissed at that party." Tyler stepped in.

"Yeah but at least we'd been speaking to each other for almost a week." I said before having some more of my coffee.

"Shut up everyone! Appreciate the beautiful couple and be happy for them." Alice said, she always makes me smile.

"Yeah, but I'm the beautiful one in this relationship." He said pretending to flip his hair.

"That's not what you said in the car." I looked at him pouting jokingly.

"Awh, (Y/N/N) can I talk to you for a sec?" Phoebe says looking at me seriously, I let go of Ethan's hand and walk over to Phoebe, I hear Tyler asking to talk to Ethan, I watched every body go inside.

"What is it?" I ask worried.

"Well, I know Ethan is going away with you, and we're going to miss you both and instead of just having a little movie night like usual, well, we are doing that too but we're gonna have a party, at my place." She smiled. "And also, was I right you needed to be a sub?"

"That would be lovely, and I'm glad you aren't abandoning the movie night, that is the best tradition we have." I start blushing. "And yeah, you were." I said smiling at the ground. I drank some more coffee.

"Knew it, don't forget protection." I almost choked.

"Phoebe! We've legit not even kissed properly, never mind that." I shook my head jokingly.

"That's because you were his first kiss." I looked at her confused.

"I was?" She smiled.

"Yep, now c'mon we need to get to class."

"Yeah of course." Tyler and Ethan walked up to us and Phoebe linked arms with Tyler.

"Everything good?" Ethan looked at me with a wide smile on his face.

"Yep, couldn't be better." I say holding his hand. 

It's official, I'm actually really truly happy.
