Chapter VII: All Wrong

A/N (PLEASE READ)- Hey! This will be a shorter chapter, but pretty drama filled. By the way, if you've done some good fan art (or have seen some good fan art) of the whole gang, I might want to use it as the title cover! I don't really like the one I have right now, so if you have anything, message me! Of course the original artist will be given complete credit. "You should've seen the look on h-, you. I gotta call you back," Olivia saw Mandy and hung up the phone, "What do you want?"
"Just wanted to tell you that Signe and Amy are going to the dance with Mark and Jack." Mandy gave her a sly smile.
"What? How?."
"I have proof that you harassed us." Mandy held up her phone and played a recording of the entire conversation, "You two aren't gonna be able to go now. Bye. I'm taking this to the principal's office." Olivia was stunned and Mandy hastily walked to Mrs. Warner's office.
"Wait!" Oliva called out and yelled at Mandy. This only caused Mandy to walk faster. By now, Olivia was running towards Mandy. She grabbed Mandy's phone and started wrestling her for it.
"Let go of me! It's my phone!" Mandy yelled.
"Never!" Olivia grabbed Mandy's arm, which caused the phone to fly it of her hand and into the nearby fountain.
"No!" Mandy raced to retrieve her phone and yell at Olivia but she was gone.
She waded in the water and found her phone. She quickly raced home to stick her phone in some rice. After a couple of hours, her phone was fine, the memory was completely erased! She knew she backed up her phone on her computer, but the recording was lost forever.
"Fuck!" She texted the girls' group chat to tell them the awful news.
Mandy: Hey guys..
Mary: Hey, what did the principal say when you showed her the recording? (A/N: Mandy told everyone about the recording recently)
Mandy: Bad news. Olivia fought over my phone and caused it to end up in the fountain. The recording got deleted.
Amy: What? No!
Mandy: I'm sorry. There's no way to get it back.
Signe: What about we just don't go to the dance altogether? None of us go?
Amy: We're all on the dance committee Signe. We have to go.
Signe: Let's just let Mark and Sean go with those girls. They don't care about them, we know that.
Amy: Signe? Are you ok?
Signe: Believe me, I want to go with them so badly, but we just can't win. We can't.
Marzia: So you're just gonna give up?
Signe: I'm not giving up. I'm just letting them win. And I think that we all should just let them win this time.

Marzia's POV

    I won't let those girls win! Amy and Signe will go to the dance with Mark and Sean. Maybe Felix can do something..
Marzia: FELIX!
Felix: JESUS WOMAN WHAT?
Marzia: You were with Mark and Jack all day, right?
Felix: Yeah, we hung out today with PJ.
Marzia: Did they tell you what they were doing for the dance?
Felix: Yeah. PJ's going with his girlfriend and Mark and Jack agreed to hang out with us at the dance instead of hanging at home.
Marzia: Do they have dates?
Felix: Oh yeah, they were asked by those two popular girls Olivia and Linda. They said yes, but I don't think they really mean it. They're still going with those girls though. So I guess they do have dates?
Marzia: Oh no. I gotta go.
    Marzia quickly screenshotted the conversation and sent it to the group chat.

Amy: THEY SAID YES TO THOSE BITCHES?
Mary: Calm down Amy!
Signe: You see? They've already won. No point in trying. We should just let them go with the boys.
Amy: What's gotten into you?
Signe: I guess I just kinda lost hope. I've accepted it, and you should too.
Amy: Well I'm not gonna just "accept it." Maybe you've just "accepted it" because you've finally realized that Sean doesn't actually care about you!
Mandy: AMY!
Mary: DON'T SAY THAT!
Marzia: IT'S NOT TRUE SIGNE! DON'T LISTEN TO HER!
Amy: NO, IT IS TRUE. THERE. YOU HEARD IT. SEAN. DOESN'T. CARE. ABOUT. YOU.

*Marzia removed Amy from chat*

Marzia: There. Don't listen to her Signe! Sean cares about you. He cares a lot.
Signe: Why wouldn't I listen to her? She's right. Even imagining that Sean would go out with me is being delusional. I've accepted that. You guys should accept it too.
