Chapter III: Some Competition & a Bad Announcement

I just wanted to say that during the basketball scene, Mark's team will be italicized and Jack's team will just be bold. Ennnjoy :D!
Refresher:
Mark's team: Wade, Bob, Signe, Marzia, & Mary
Jack's team: Felix, Ken, Molly, Mandy, & Amy
"3...2...1...!" Coach threw the ball in the air and both Sean and Mark jumped up to hit it. Sean looked like he was gonna get it, but Mark was just an inch taller than him and got to it first. Mark hit it over to Sean's side and the game began!
Mary: I'm open, Wade!
Wade: Okay! He threw it to her and they passed it around. Mark now had the ball.
Marzia: I'm open, Mark! Mark did a pump-fake and passed it to Marzia. She jumped up  and made it!
Coach Anderson: 1-0 Mark's Team! They threw up the ball again, but this time Sean hit it. Ken got the ball!
Ken: Amy! Ball's going to you! He gave her a sly wink and she winked back. He pretended to pass it to Amy to get everyone to block her but actually passed it to Felix.
Felix: BACK UP MARK (Mark was blocking him)!
Mark: NEVER!
Felix: HELP? ANYONE? Molly ran up to him and he passed it to her. She passed it to Amy, who passed it to Mandy, who passed it to Sean who then dunked the ball!
Sean: HELL YEAH! They all high fived. About half the period was gone already.
Coach Anderson: 1-1! The game continued until it was just minutes away from changing time. The score was 4-5 Sean's team. The ball was on their side.
Mandy: Come on guys! Let's see if we can get one more basket! Mandy tried to pass it to Felix until Bob stole it! He passed it to Mary who passed it to me and I made it! As soon as the ball went in, the whistle blew! It was a tie in the end.
Mark: Nice job guys! Well let's hit the locker rooms! The guys went in and I followed the girls to the girl's locker rooms.
Mandy: Well that was fun!
Mary: I'm pissed that we tied though! I wanted to win!
Marzia: Same! But Jack had Wade. Wade's tall. Very tall.
Signe: You aren't wrong!
Molly: What about you Amy? (She was staring off into space with a happy look on her face) Amy?! AMY!!!
Amy: I'M AWAKE MS. KNIGHT! Wait, what?
We all giggled.
Signe: Were you thinking about Mark?
Amy: Wha-Wh-Why w-would you th-think that!?
Mandy: Well you had that goofy look on your face that you always have when you're thinking of him!
Marzia: He likes you too Amy!
Signe: We've already established that! Just talk to him!!
Amy: Well what about you? Huh?
Signe: What do you mean?
Amy: I see what you doodle in Ms. Knight's class! S+J? I don't think that J stands for
Mr. Johnson our math teacher!
Molly: Signe, we see you stare at Jack during lunch, science, and every other class you have with him!
Mary: You blush when he runs his fingers through his green hair.
Mandy: Plus when Mark teases you guys.
Signe: But we already know that Mark likes Amy! It's kinda obvious. But you know those girls that surround Sean during lunch? Why wouldn't he like them? He hasn't told Mark anything or else Mark would tease us even more!
Marzia: You have a good point. Jack doesn't really show that kinda stuff obviously.
Molly: So, we need to get Mark and Amy together but we also need to find out if Jack has a crush on you or anyone else.

Mark's P.O.V: Boy's Locker Room

Bob: ...You know what I mean? Mark? Mark?!
Wade: What's up with him? He's just staring off!
Jack: I got this. Just plug your ears. *inhales* MARK! WAKE THE HELL UP!
Mark: THE ANSWER'S 57 MR. JOHNSON!
Everyone burst out laughing.
Mark: What did I miss?
Jack: You were thinking of her weren't you?
Felix: Seriously Mark? You think of Amy way too much.
Mark: What?! NO!
Bob: Everyone knows you like her dude.
Mark: But I only told Jack (he gave Jack a murderous look)..
Wade: Jack didn't tell us. We just have common sense, Mark.
Felix: She so likes you too.
Mark: How would you know?
Ken: Do you see how she stares at you? Or are you too busy staring at her to notice?
Bob: Mandy told me. It's true. She likes you dude! Just ask her out.
The bell rings and both the groups walk to their classes.

MAGICAL TIME SKIPPING POWERS ACTIVATE!! About 3 days passed and it was lunchtime on Thursday. (btw Signe's P.O.V again)

We all met up at our table. People (mostly girls) surrounded Sean, Mark, and Felix like they usually did and left again.
"Did those girls do that last year?" I asked. I didn't really want to know the answer, but they already heard me.
"Yeah, sometimes I guess," Sean replied.
"Sometimes?! They came here everyday! If you think this is hectic, try the middle and the end if the year! Sooo many people surrounded you guys!" Bob laughed. Everyone else did too and I forced out a fake one. I blanked out, 'Of course he doesn't like you Signe! He has so many other choices! Better choices!' I thought to myself. I woke up from the sound of Sean's fingers snapping in front of me. I looked into his oceanic blue/grey eyes and got hypnotized once again. This time I awoke to Amy's fingers. She had a suggestive look on her face. I just rolled my eyes.
"Hey, are you okay? You keep zoning out!" Sean asked me.
"Yeah Signe? Are you
okay?" Amy asked me annoyingly.
"I'm fine. I just didn't get a lot of sleep last night and Mr. Johnson is soo boring," I lied. He was about to say something, but got cut off by the speaker.
"Hello students! Pardon the interruption, but we're announcing our first school dance of the year! The Back-to-School dance! It'll be this Sunday and tickets will go on sale today after school. Please go to either Mr. Finley or Mrs. Hayden for more information. Thank you!" Our principal Mrs. Warner announced. As soon as she finished, what seemed like all the single girls (which is a lot) flooded back to Sean and Mark, practically begging for either one of them to  go to the dance. Amy and I rolled our eyes while Marzia rubbed my shoulder, Mandy rubbed Amy's shoulder, and Mary and Molly gave us sympathetic looks. I glanced over at Sean and Mark (who looked semi-pissed) telling all those girls that they'd 'think about it,' or that they 'didn't know whether or not they were even going,' or even full-on saying no (in the nicest way possible). Marzia whispered in Felix's ear that we'd  be outside when they were done, since Felix stayed with Mark and Sean to help them. Ken, Bob, Wade, Mary, Mandy, Molly, Marzia, Amy, and I walked off. I thought to my self again, 'Now he'll never choose me. He's ought to find someone he likes in that line..'

And scene. I hope you liked this chapter! I tried to play with your emotions, did I? Again, I will continue if anyone wants me to. I tried to make a new chapter ASAP, but still put forth my best efforts, so I hope this was good. I also kept my goal from last time. I wrote 1200 words instead of only 1000 this time! I know these are long, but I personally like long chapters. Anyways, see you next time, buh-bye :P!
