I had to wait for Jungkook to exit the closet as inconspicuously as he could, and I waited a solid five minutes after to leave the dark and tiny room. Glancing around, I made sure nobody paid mind to me, and quickly spotted Jungkook- who was quickly walking from the parlor.

He's not supposed to leave without me! And I still had to tell Bonnie where I went- surely she'd be looking for me. But he was leaving, and I had to catch up, so I guess I'd have to make up some excuse to Bonnie about why I had such an early departure despite asking her to come here.

I quickly ran after him, but made note that Hoseok and Vada were currently kissing by the booth, which explains why everyone's attention was averted from the girl in the closet.

I made note to give Hoseok a fist bump later on, but finally caught up with Jungkook on the street.

"You're not supposed to leave without me," I huffed, narrowing my eyes at the taller boy.

He gave a coy, amused smirk. "I knew you'd follow; you're too persistent."

I wasn't sure whether or not to take that as an insult or a compliment, but instead decided to simply roll my eyes. "So, I'm your accomplice, huh? Like an assistant of sorts?"

"Dunno, I've never done this before either," Jungkook admitted. "I mean... nothing like this and been done before, come to think of it. But a deal's a deal..."

"Great! Well, if I'm going to help you, I'd think I'd have to know a little bit- scratch that- a LOT about cupids," I said, grinning as I whispered the last word.

"We can't talk here," he muttered, eyeing the streets, which were busy and paying no mind to either of us. "Do you know someplace a bit more... private? Secluded is preferred."

"What about the school rooftop? I mean it's filled during lunch and such, but after school most people head to the ice cream parlor or their dormitories. Plus, there's no cameras, and that was confirmed when two students from Switzerland had sex and didn't get caught," I mentioned. "Sound good to you? Can you fly up there or something?"

Jungkook let out a low chuckle, "I guess it will work. We'd best be on our way."

"So what do you want to know?" Jungkook asked, sitting at one of the lunch tables the school kept up here.

"Everything," I grinned. He laughed in response, as though I were a mere child asking how the universe worked. But who knows how long cupids live? He could quite possibly be from the roman era.

"Well, is highly doubt I could tell you that," he chuckled, a glimmer in his eye. "We'd be up here a long time."

"OK, then tell me about cupids. Tell me about what your arrows do and who you're setting up and what your job involves."

He quirked a single brow, "You really want to know, don't you?"

"No shit Sherlock."

Jungkook laughed again. "Cupids are descendants of the Cupid, son of Venus. It works like this; you have one God, the almighty, Lord of all, and you have the minor gods, AKA what you'd know as the Roman or Greek gods, though they go by their Roman names now. Cupid decided that he couldn't do all of his work by himself- setting up couples that were set to stay together until old age, who'd have the most fantastic love of all- and so, he decided to make other cupids. Messengers of Love."

"Go on," I urged. "So you're a descendent of a god?"

He purses his lips. "Not exactly. You see, when you're chosen to be a cupid, you need the blood of Cupid himself to grant you the powers- skilled archery, eternal youth, immortality, godly beauty, and more. And so, they made very few arrows that had a single drop of Cupid's blood on the tip, and to be shot in the heart with it. But if you're not strong enough, the blood will kill you. If you are, you're a cupid. Forever."
