"Oh, hey! I wasn't expecting you."
"I spoke with Bobby."
Salem paused. "What did you get?"
"Well he's on board now at least."
"How did you manage to do that?"
"You know Bobby. He isn't a very logical person." Violet was rewarded with a chuckle and an invitation. The boy pats his bed and beckons her to sit with him. She gladly joins him.
"I don't know why he won't trust what I tell him. I try to not be aggressive and still-"
"It's because I'm a girl." The boy chuckles once more.
"You think so?"
"Yeah."
"You used your womanly wiles to persuade him didn't you?" Salem waggles his fingers in the air, conjuring the most dangerous of succubi. Violet responds with a deadarm, and a hearty laugh at his jab.
"Yes that's exactly what I did."
"I knew it."
"Oh you did?"
"Totally." Salem exhibits his knowledge of her actions. "You were all, 'Oh, Bobby, please, do it for me!'" He pounces the girl, Violet laughing hysterically at his impression. "Let me shove my chest into your face until you submit!" The albino places his smaller, more slender frame onto hers, placing his flat, bony chest onto her cranium.
"Fuck you!" Violet sounds her battle cry. Flipping Salem. With his back to the bed the albino can do nothing but cackle in satisfaction.
"You absolutely did exactly that."
"Did not!" She speaks through her chuckling.
"Okay, maybe it went a bit differently." Violet waits for the boy to provide is error in his clairvoyance. "So you didn't shove your chest into his face." Salem pauses, and waits for the girl to be pacified to strike again. "On purpose." Violet commences his attack on the boy's chest, peppering his chest with vertical fists. He holds a mighty defense against the girl. After her assault is concluded, he picks up the conversation.
"Well thanks to your seductive skill, Bobby's now on board with Pym's offer." He finishes his rhetoric with a smirk, motioning to her body.
"That's not how I convinced him." She pouts.
"Well either way, it's because of you." His smirk becomes a grin.
"Where would you be without me?" She asks mockingly. To her surprise, his demeanor becomes softer. He looks to Violet and leans his head ever so closer.
"I don't want to know." His voice is quiet yet firm. His eyes are locked to hers. More to her shock, she swears she can see tears forming his eyes as she looks down at him. He reaches for her hands. "Violet, I-" he halts locking his fingers with hers. With his eyes welling up, again he attempts to speak.
"Salem? Can we talk?" Bobby calls, the one time he decides to be courteous and knock on his door. The albino lets go of the girl and snaps his fingers lifting the girl just enough to slide from under. Releasing her from the air and back onto the cushions, he wipes his eyes and opens the door.
"Sure." He answers with a with sniff, a tear stained face looking to Bobby.
"Hey, are you alright?"
"I was talking about my parents with Vi." He lies "I got a bit too emotional. What's up?"
"I wanted to let you know that I'm gonna take a look at that place before I give my final thought." Bobby asserts.
"That's good. I'm glad you got an open mind about this. It could be a big benefit."
"Alright. You can go back to the therapist now." Bobby declares as he walks back outside and away.
"Salem?" Violet calls to him.
"I'm" He pauses, "Gonna go take a walk." Dusty, hearing his announcement floats over the bed toward his friend, landing next to him.
"Salem." Violet calls again, managing to stop him. He turns around to face her. "Was that really what you were gonna talk to me about?"
"No." He wipes his eyes a final time. "No it wasn't."
