23~ No No No! Part 1

*A few weeks after Kate moved in*

Kate's POV

"I'll get the mail!" I told the boys midst their argument about who should get the mail. I walked to the mailbox got the mail and went back inside. I handed Adam the mail and approached the stairs.

"Kate, there's a letter for you," Adam said.

"Thanks Adam," I replied as I accepted the letter. I walked up the stairs and into my room before opening it. There was no return address and the envelope was sealed with wax stamped into a question mark. I opened the envelope, and pulled out a folded piece of yellowing parchment paper. I opened the paper to see one sentence written with a quill and ink.

'Dearest Kate,

Team Crafted will die tonight.'

"No No No!" I said shocked.

I dropped the letter as Ally ran into the room.

Ally's POV

"Kate? Kate!" I screamed as she dropped a note on the bed. I waved my hand in front of her face but she was frozen in shock.

Adam ran into the room as Kate started to talk.

Kate's POV

"Go, run! Get out of here and go as far away as possible." I screamed, my voice was horse.

"Kate are you okay?" Ally asked concerned.

"Yeah," I lied.

"What's wrong?" Adam asked. I threw the letter at him and Ally caught it. She looked at the paper and then laughed.

"Very funny Kate, I know you like to pull pranks like this," Ally stated.

"No I'm serious!"

"Sure you are," Ally said walking away.

"Please Adam," I begged as he walked away. He just shook his head and walked out of the room.

Of course no one is going to believe me. I sound insane. I just have to wait until tonight.

I loaded my gun and slid my knife in my boot.

"Hey Kate?" Ally asked.

"What's up sis?" I asked

"I'm going on a date with Adam tonight and I was curious if you could help me get ready."

"Of course I'll help!" I said as I walked with her to her room. I shut the door and walked to her closet. I pulled out a knee length purple dress and a pair of simple nude heels. I curled her dark brown hair to make it wavier and put it up in a messy bun. I applied a very light layer of plum eye shadow along with black eyeliner and mascara. I gave her some sugar plum lip gloss. I put simple silver hoops in her ears and put a necklace that had an A charm around her neck. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled.

"It's perfect!" she exclaimed.

"Go have fun!" I told her as she hugged me. She walked down the stairs to meet Adam waiting at the base of the stairs. The rest of Team Crafted was dressed in their suits standing in the lounge talking. They all stared at Ally as she came down the stairs.

"You look beautiful babe!" Adam exclaimed.

"And you look handsome!" she said as they walked out the front door.

"Where are you boys going?" I inquired as I walked down the stairs.

"We're just going out for a little while," Jason exclaimed.
