**** Author's Note - Michael Fassbender as Ben is pictured above. I might have missed something editing this chapter. I did it in a hurry. I might be a little bit longer on the next chapter because I am actually adding to the story. Read and Enjoy. As always comment, share, and vote.

"Hey, hun," Kristi said as she was walking around the corner to were Ben sat with Kathy. "I think we are done for the day. We will need to get shots of the restaurant in full swing, but you don't have to be here for that, Wilson" Kristi's voice was sweet as butter as she spoke.

Ben ignored her, and he droning out of the schedule that she had to follow. She always did this then working around him. It was one of the things that nerved him about her, he was not her scheduler. Looking over to his friend he but her off, and said, "Hey, Willy, We are going to be in town for a few days. How about we get out, and grab a few beers? We can catch up, and talk." Ben held his breathe as he waited for the response.

"I don't know. I have look, and see if I am free¬¬—," Wilson tried to finish his cop out, because the idea of being alone with Ben was terrifying to him.

Kathy interrupted him, "You are actually free tomorrow night and the night after for you short vacation, remember. We have those private events that Bobby and I were going to handle. You don't have to be here for that I can handle the boys for a while."

Wilson turned to accept Ben's invite to drinks. He noticed that Kristi had aready left on her phone yelling at someone about the photographs and work, as usual.

"Thanks for the tour," Ben said to Kathy, and then turned to Wilson pulling him into a hug, "I am glad I found you again buddy. I missed you." Ben then left through the dining room leaving Kathy staring at Wilson. He paid her no attention as he watched the love of his life leave. He turned back to her, and gave her a sharp look as he grumbled through his teeth, "office now."

Wilson hadn't realized he was stomping his feet until he turned to enter the office. Looking back, he turned to see a Kathy snickering as she passed him to enter the office. "Did you know that he was coming with her. When she said boyfriend, that was the last person I thought I would see walk through my doors." Wilson was reeling, but he knew that it was ridiculous to think that Kathy knew that Ben was going to show up on his door step. She wouldn't have let him get blindsided like that if she knew that he was coming. Wilson sat at his desk and Kathy sat at the couch beside it.

"How are you feeling after seeing him again?"

"Fine, I fine, Kath," Wilson lied as he shuffled papers to busy his hands.

"Well, fine won't be okay if we lose are food service permit," She snapped at him pulling the permit from the stack of papers in his hand.

"Why did you tell him I was free the next two nights? I was trying to get out of being alone with him."

"That's why I did it. You need to face this thing head on, and get it out of your system. I have noticed how you refuse my blind dates, and your hires look very similar to the man that just left this building."

"Not true, I hire plenty of qualified people that don't look like Ben."

"Ha," Kathy retort, "That is why the kitchen looks like a group of buff movie stars with buzzed hair cuts. I will give it to you though you do have a good type. I sampled a few of those hires on a one night stand, let me tell you delicious." Ben's mouth fell open, but it was no use Kathy was a silent partner it wasn't like it was that unethical. She was a single woman, and deserved a lot more than a one night stand. "Don't worry you only have to have a few drinks, and talk about the good ole days. You have a good head on your shoulder, and I think he wants to reconnect with his best friend. And, you do kind of owe him that."

"I know I do. My only hope I don't screw up again, because I don't have anywhere to run to."

"I don't think you will have to worry about that. After seeing that way he was looking today, he has missed you, probably more than he even knows. You need to go and let that poor boy know why you ran away all those years ago." Kathy had hoped that Ben would work this out in his own, but she might need to do more than plant seeds. The poor boy was not the sharpest blade on the lawn mower as her daddy use to say.

Wilson wasn't too keen to sit and talk with Ben. Hell, he couldn't even take living with the man because he was so attracted to him. But, that didn't stop from wanting to sit and stare at him all day. Kathy snapped her fingers in front of his face. "Go home for the day. You need to get your head on straight before you do anything. Bobby and I can handle the rest of the day."

"I am fine."

"Yeah, that is why I had to asked you to pass me a paper clip four times, but you can't do anything except think about Ben's supple ass." Kathy was trying to goad him into a response, and he caved to her request.

"Fine, you think y'all will be okay for the next few days if I don't come in?" Wilson asked "I will keep my phone close, I would like to go see Max. I need to get some retail therapy in to relax a bit."

"Please, we can handle this. It is what Bobby and I are here for is for you to have a few days off."

"Fine, I don't need to remind you not to sleep with any of the employee's while you are acting as owner. I know that I can do anything about the ones that you already taken to bed." Kathy dropped her jaw in shock that he would accuse her of deviant behavior. She started pushing him to the door.

"You know though that new sous chef, what was his name? Gunner. I could definitely catch him in a dark alley."

Wilson turned back around, "I'm not leaving. We need to keep him on staff you can't have him."

"Wilson, I am not going to do anything inappropriate, but stare longingly like you do at Ben. Now, go and have some wine with Max, while you pretend you aren't trying to find something that will make that ass pop." Kathy forced him out the back door to where he parked his jeep. "And, Will I do suggest telling him about why you left before someone else does. He needs the truth. He will still love you for being you. Oh, say hey to little Donnie for me. I miss that Queen."

Wilson wished he knew that was true, but you never know how someone is going to react. The news that their friend they thought was straight turned out like boys. Wilson could take a lot of rejection from different places, but he never wanted rejection from Ben's life. He also didn't want Ben to have to make that decision. So, he did the only thing that he could think of is leave. Ben probably wouldn't have a problem with him being gay, but he was a kid from a religious family. And, they would have the problem. Would Ben still be able to stay best friends with him? That situation would've posed a problem down the road. Wilson wouldn't make Ben choose between his friend or his family.

But, for now to make sure he looked good for his semi-date with his best friend. Climbing in his jeep, he was off to see if Max had anything new to make sure he looked irresistible.
