A/N - So this chapter is not completely finished, but you can look at it like a cliffhanger. I do have it written for the most part, but can't bear to try and focus to edit for reading. I also want to add a little more drama so this part may change between now, and when I actually post the full version. But, I wanted to give you a third update. Enjoy.

Wilson found himself pulling his Jeep up to a different part of his restaurant because tonight he wasn't the boss. Tonight, he was a patron of the Governor, but it didn't mean he wasn't doing to make sure that his people were doing their work right. Walking through the large wooden double doors, Wilson's first stop was to the kitchen to make sure that Bobby was handling the food for night's dinner.

Rounding the corner of the server alley, there was not a soul in the alley, and Wilson felt his chest tighten. He was wondering where everyone was at because this was hour zero. They needed to be in there place. Where was Kathy? Wilson allowed himself to calm before going any further. Once calm, he walked into the kitchen and was bombarded with the delicious smells of the halibut roasting in the ovens. He walked to the back to find Bobby finishing up his spill with the kitchen about the night's event. "Hey, Boss, I will be there in a minute," he said to Wilson. "Alright everyone in a huddle. We are going to say 'teamwork' on three." Wilson loved the way his staff stayed pumped for each shift, and Bobby always told him that Wilson was the only one responsible for the moral of the workers. As they shouted Wilson notice Gunner in the mix. Wilson could see what Kathy saw in him that was tempting. The man was definitely a gym rat. He had that frat boy hair style and was a light brown. He had eyes that were the mix of blue and green that was intriguing when Wilson had to have one on ones with him. Wilson was glad to see the man in here because that means he wasn't in some linen closet somewhere with Kathy.

"Hey, Boss. What's going on?" Bobby had come up to stand in from of him in his chef coat and hat which he hated to wear, but Wilson made this compromise with him. He was only had to wear the thing when they hosted a private party.

"Where is Kathy, and the serving staff?"

"Oh, yeah, that would explain the terrified look on your face. She is up on the second floor running to the night's game plan with them." Wilson let out a low sigh. "Kathy and Gunner actually got everything set up for them before the first one showed up." So, that is what they were discussing when he left early. "Yeah, Gunner came in, and I didn't have anything for him to do will we got further along with that last shipment of fish, and he went in search of something to do. Between you and me, I think that he kind of likes the spitfire that is Kathy."

"I think you may be more on point than you know." Wilson loved that everyone was picking up on the hints that Gunner and Kathy were into each other. It will help that relation to flourish hopefully. "Well, if you have everything under control here I am going to check on her."

"Yeah, Boss. Oh, and hey nice outfit I hope that man of yours will keep the men off the sweet ass." Bobby let out a loud, hearty laugh when Wilson flipped him off before leaving the kitchen.

As he stepped out into the server alley, the mood had changed, and his restaurant was alive with activity. The servers were buzzing about like busy worker bees, except these bees wore black polos and dress pants with the red threaded corn stalk logo. "Everyone have a good time tonight make sure everyone is well taken care of, and remember I have a bonus for all of you come payday." Wilson smiled to himself as the all thanked him and clapped as he walked away to find Kathy. He made sure to compensate his servers especially well when the restaurant had a special function. It always made them work that much more diligently even when they had to clean up after.

Headed up to the bar before looking for Kathy, He fixed himself a vodka martini in a highball glass, and added a lime instead of olives. "You know, your drink choice is so odd," came a male voice that sounded like it could be on a radio talk show. Behind him was the newest bartender that Wilson had hired, Corbett. He was tall and lean with a pale skin tone that set off his blue eyes. He had a few visible tattoos that could be seen in the short sleeve, black button up all the bartenders wear. His red tie was loose around his neck. "You know, I personally don't like to follow the crowd either when I drink," Corbett said to Wilson. Wilson didn't know if that was subtle flirting to test the water, or if that was just him. So, Wilson dropped the first thought and went with the second.
