Wilson had found himself right back at the restaurant within three hours of actually leaving that morning with the intention to start his days off early. Kathy refused to call him in, but Wilson was thankful that he had told Bobby to call him, also. There was no major disaster that they couldn't handle, but being right before the Governor's dinner there couldn't be any missteps, and Bobby knew that. So, he was happy to be there to handle the fish supplier especially since he was the one that made the deal in the first place.

Now, Wilson was on the phone, and quickly losing his temper with some idiot on the phone. "No, I place an order for 30 lbs of halibut, and we your district manager, Wayne, offered me a discount because of my continual business. That is why it looks like I only paid for 20lbs," he paused as he waited for her retort, which he was sure was going to set him off. "Please, I am done talking with you, go get your district manager on the phone. I don't want to speak with anyone, but Wayne for now on." The lady huffed in his ear but placed him on hold. Wilson hated being a hard ass, but this was an appropriate time to do it. At least this conversation is keeping his mind from wandering over to his best friend, and the quick decision to invite him tonight.

Right as the other line picked up, Wilson phone buzzed in his pocket, one thing at a time, please, he thought. "Mr. Beck, I am so sorry for the miss understanding you are having with his shipping department. I remember all of our conversations on order, and I promise that everything will be fixed today before I leave this warehouse. Wilson had to give it to the company that he bought his fish from, they knew how to make sure they kept customers.

"Mr. Wayne, I think you, and I am sure that the Governor would too." They finished up their conversation about when the product would reach the store, and Wilson left the conversation fell a weight of tension lift off his shoulders. The menu could go on as planned, he needed to tell Bobby the good news. He was walking out of the office, and down the stairs, when he passed Kathy.

"Good news, I have everything taken care of the fish will be here in a few hours. They should still be prepping the other stuff by the time it gets here."

"You can wipe the smirk off your face. I could have haggled with the fish company too. Bobby just thought you needed to be called, and I let you take over," there was no spite in Kathy's voice. "Oh, by the way, I just got a call from Max, he said that Ben and Kristi just left his store. Also, he sent you something to your email account?"

They had reached the kitchen, and Wilson pulled out his phone remember that he got some kind of notification in the office, and never checked it. Walking and navigating his phone's menu is never his strong suit. So, he passed his device off to Kathy, "Pull it up while I go find Bobby, and let him know the good news."

Walking into the kitchen he bumped into a line cook that was prepping some vegetables. Wilson made it appoint to know every worker in his employment. This one's name was Jimmy. "Sorry, Boss, I wasn't looking, and the dancing just got away from me." The man said as he went back to chopping carrots.

"It's okay. Just keep the knife skills shape, and please, continue dancing." Wilson love that his employees love their jobs. Sure there were some with a bad attitude, but they never lasted. Wilson found Bobby back in the back of the kitchen cleaning and deboning the halibut that he already got on the first order. Bobby had been his head chef after he decided he couldn't do it himself, or as Kathy like to put it, she made him do it. Bobby was the most reliable person he had ever met, but an intimidating figure to stand next to. He had tattoos from one arm to the next, and he had three-inch gages in his ears. This man would fit into a night club bouncer position easily, but Wilson saw beneath the exterior. He saw a man who knew his craft and could cook like no body's business.

"Hey, Boss," Bobby called out stepping away from the fish to wash his hands. Wilson didn't know if the entire kitchen staff went off Bobby's cue, or not, but they all called him that.
