EMMA was ready for the day, she was ready to start collage and start her adult hood. Even though she still lived her parents and younger sister, Abby. Her baby sister was arguing to get a car once again.

"How come Emma gets a car?!" Yells Abby. Emma looked up from her phone as texted her friend, James.

"Cause that was a gift from Grandma before she died," says Emma. Abby groaned rolling her eyes. "And I have collage I need to get to, bye mom, bye dad Love you," she calls to them grabbing her things. She collected her purse, keys, wallet, and phone. "Bye sweetie," say Shelia and Joel to their oldest.

"Bye sis," says Emma over her shoulder, her blonde brown hair so puffy and curled. Her pink lips,  a natural rosey color. "Bye whatever," Abby not in a good mood, mumbled.

Emma walked out, a gentle breeze picked up and welcomed Emma perfectly well. Her hair still the same and not all frizzed up. She smiled at the sun and trees, even the neighbors. Ever since moving, Emma was kind of to herself. She didn't talk much or go out much until she met Brooke.

But even now she tends to be in her room studying, cause that's all she needed. Though, her parents did encouraging her to go to some parties, but the last they did, was awkward.
She shook her head out of her thoughts and got in to her car. She buckled up and started the car, she was out of there. She drove into town to pick up some coffee then she drove to her collage, Santa Clarita Collage.

"Hey Em!" A bunch, many who didn't even know Emma, said hi and hey.
She simply waved shyly, she wasn't use to the attention. She was blushing a scarlet color as her best friend, Brooke bounced right up to her.

"Hey!" "Hi."

Brooke hugs her, then pulls away before Emma can react. "So. Any boys yet?" Brooke asked with a smirky smile.

Emma groaned, she loved her best friend, but Brooke was boy crazy. "Brooke, it was a four day weekend, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna get any boyfriends over that amount of time," says Emma logically.

"Seriously Em? When are you gonna get in the field, there so many boys would love to date you," says Brooke.

"Yea, well maybe I don't want to date them," says Emma, snappy.

Emma was doing her homework for tonight when her teacher called her.

"Yes Mr Banker?"

"Office." Is all he said to her -
pointing to the door.

She grabbed her things, a certain boy looking at her worriedly. His dark brown eyes following her as she walked out. She clinged her books to her chest, and her purse on her right shoulder. She was afraid of being kick out or in trouble, she hadn't done anything. Was something wrong with Abby or her parents?

Were they okay? Were they hurt or worse- her thoughts stop as she entered the office. Her shaky legs forced her to walk forward to the front desk. "Name?" The lady asks not even looking up from her work, her fingers typing like crazy. Her tiny tight circle, her tight bun - high up.

"Emma-" she was cut off by the headmaster of the place popped his head out. "Mrs Emma in here," his voice made all of her fears coming true. Her legs wobbled over to his office, her became clammy and her books were ready to fall out of her grip. She sat down shaking as bad as a leaf. Her books fell into her lap, she was trying to steady her breathe.

"Mrs Em-" before he can even finish her name. Emma goes into a rant that she's sorry for what ever she's done. Mr Humble's laughter stopped her from her embrassing herself anymore.

"Emma you aren't in trouble," he says with humor.

"Oh..." She blushes a light pink shade.

"But your mom is calling you to pick up your sister," he says serious.

"Oh is she okay?" Asks Emma, concerned.

"Your mother is fine just a bit under the weather, and your sister just needs a ride from school as wants to leave," he says.

"Oh okay, thank you Sir," says Emma, she collects her things and quickly rushes out to her car to go and get her sister from school. She speeds down the hall when she's stopped.

"Hey Emma!" She stops and looks back around, the look of annoyance on her face.

"What?!" She snapped.

The boy was startled by her sudden change in attitude. Emma felt bad," I'm sorry, I'm just stressed." She says with a groan as she piched her nose.

"Its, it's okay. I just wanted to give you, the homework Mr Banker assigned at the last second," he says pulling out a piece of paper with workbook and text book page numbers.

"Right thanks, uh, sorry what's your name again?" She asks taking the paper and folding it up and putting in her notebook.

"Thomas, I'm your neighbor on the right with my brother and parents," he says with a smile.

"Right your dad is a cop?" She questions.

"Yea, he's a stern old man," chuckles Thomas.

"Right well thanks for the homework and stuff but I gonna go get my sister," says Emma as she goes.

"Right, bye..." he mumbles as she walks out the doors leaving Thomas all by himself in the hall. He sighs," great going Thomas!" He hisses to himself, as he slapped his palm against his forehead - which echoed through the hall as it was drown out by people talking and chatting up.
