EMMA smiled a goodbye to Thomas as he grinned ear from ear going back home. She smiled bitting her lip, blush - forgetting her head pain. "Emma, Abby come here!" Her father calls for them. She frowned for her father ruining her moment. She sighs walking out and to their bedroom.

Their father asked them to listen for a heartbeat in their mother. Emma gave her father a bitch look as he told them this. Abby held those things they use to listen for a beat. She shrugged looking at her older sister who was horrified and curious as to what they were about to find. She listens and then makes a weird face immediately handing them over to Emma who jumped startled. "Did you hear it? What happen?" She asks confused as she grabbed them.

"Just listen," was all she said. Emma shrugged putting them on, she bents down and listens in her mother's chest for her heart. Emma say there a full 2 minutes. She began to grow annoyed.

"Ha ha very funny, where's your heart beat? Why is it taking so long?" She said out loud making her mother grow worried. "Are you guys trying to make fun of me for taking some medical classes? It's not funny anymore." She laughs pityful standing up.

"Em, if it was a joke would I be shaking?!" Hisses Abby, glaring at her clueless some times self centered sister. Emma looked at her and Abby was shaking scared. Her eyes widen.

"Holy shit Mom!"

"Language Emma," scolds their mother. Giving her oldest a look for cussing.

"Mom you have no heart beat and you're scolding me for cussing?!" Emma asks, bewildered.

"That's not all," Sheila says, nervous.

"There's more?" Asks Joel with a high pitch voice.

And that's when Sheila slit her arm and nothing happen. No blood, no nothing. Emma felt sick.

"Don't freak out," Sheila reminded them and she squeezes her cut. As black blood came out. Emma's eyes widen like there was no tomorrow. Then Sheila cover her arm looking at her family. Their dad fainted as well as the blood came out. Abby and Emma looked at each other and fainted as well. Dropping to the ground with loud thuds. "God damnit..." Mumbles Sheila.

When Emma woke up, her head hurt and her forehead hurt more. She groaned. Why did her head hurt again? She didn't drink, so cross out hangover. Then she remembered Thomas and his stupid rock, she smiled. And then she remembered her mother. "Oh shit...." She mumbles getting up. It all came running at her.

"This doesn't make sense I mean," Emma looks at her mother as Abby helps their father gain his balance. "You're bleeding black blood mom! You need help, a doctor!" Exclaims Emma.

"Emma sweet heart calm down-"

"Calm down! You know what I think I need some juice," Emma looks at her father and sister. "Wouldn't you agree?"

They nod, all down stairs drinking juice. It was a lot to take in. Sheila watched. "Is the juice helping?"

"Uh-huh."

"Yep."

They all nodding. Sheila ate raw meat, Emma cringed at the smell. Abby held back from being sick and throwing up her lunch. As did Emma. "I could cook that for you sweetheart."

"I'm fine," she shakes her head as she took another bite. Emma felt sick to her stomach at the thought of all that meat.

"We should go back to emergency room," points Joel.

"Great idea dad! Expect they'll call the FBI and have mom taken away and then they'll take us. Then I'll never graduate college or marry or have kids," rambles Emma. Abby slaps her. Emma rubs her red cheek," Thanks I needed that."

"No problem sis."

"No and Emma please calm down. I'm sorry. Look I know things are very weird, but I feel good. I have all this energy and like a focus. I can't go to the hospital where they're gonna put me in a tube and prick me and poke me. They might never let me come home again. Bad for you, because we're having spectacular sex," Sheila says, the last part to her husband - not caring her daughters were in the room.

"Mom!"

"Ew."

"Whatever this is, we need to talk to someone because we are not experts. And this is just the sort of thing the Internet will have a lot of misinformation about," Joel says walking to his wife.

"I know someone," says Abby.

"You do?" Asks Emma.

"Who?" Asks Joel.

"A creeper."

"What's a creeper?" Asks Emma.

" This kind of a nerd who specializes in disturbing, weird, or gruesome shit."

"And I think I know his brother...."
