The drive was silent and Luke was waiting for the girl to open her mouth and continue blabbing about how his truck was uncomfortable, but he figured that he judged wrong. She acted very different from 20 minutes ago, she had been biting her fingers, no not her nails, her fingers, for a solid ten minutes and she was awkwardly silent and still, not even moving a single muscle and her eyes tapered on the road.

"Tell me, Sydney. What's your favorite band?" He said in silly old guy tone which made Sydney smile.

"Let's see. There's The 1975, Bastille, One Direction, Coldplay-"

"One Direction?" He laughed.

"What? They have like, really catchy music. Stop judging." She pouted and looked at Luke with her brows knitted together.

"Yeah. I like One Direction too, its just, they don't make music together anymore it's-"

"Tragic." She sighed. "I know."

Luke looked at her and Sydney lazily sunk into her seat. "What about we play a game."

"What game?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Twenty questions."

"That's too mainstream, but okay I'm not complaining." She shook her head, smiling at herself. It's like in those books she had read.

Luke asked a couple of questions and Sydney did too. Luke has two brothers, Ben and Jack, Sydney has a weird obsession with fairydust and has a fraternal twin sister.

"Okay, my turn," She laughed at Luke's terrible joke about camels. "What is your biggest fear?"

"To be alone, I guess." His once smiling face had turned into a frown and Sydney had regretted that she even asked Luke that. "I'm not going into details though, that would be depressing. How about you Sydney, have you ever been kissed?"

Sydney was quite taken aback by Luke's question. "N-no." She simply replied and Luke nod his head and looked at her.

"Mhm," Luke hummed, his eyes still on the road. "I'd be eager to fix it."

"What?"

"Kidding," He smiled, his dimples showing, and Sydney couldn't help but admire the boy's genuine smile. "I wouldn't mind though."

Sydney blushed. It was that moment that she had realized that she was attracted to Luke, then she shook her head, thinking that it's foolish to have feelings for a guy she had known for 45 minutes.

"It's my turn. What are you doing here in L.A?" She bluntly asked.

"Is my accent that thick?"

"Thick enough for me to notice."

"Well, I have a band and we, uh, moved here to test our luck." Luke smirked. He knows they're lucky, too lucky. "How old are you?"

"18, but I'm turning 19 on July."

"I'm 20 and I'm a Cancer."

"No one's asking, Luke." He rolled her eyes, and giggled.

"Meanie."

They had just drove by the road that leads to where Sydney lives, which made her jump and panicky."We were supposed to turn at that street, go back."

"I'm taking you somewhere." He bit his lip.

"Where? What the hell, Luke?" Sydney was quite shocked, normally she'd be scared and mad but she trusted Luke enough and felt safe, which confused her because she's actually trusting a guy who's last name she didn't even know.

"Don't worry, it'll be quick."
