So, as I said in the first chapter, I am a year and some free of self harm. Self harm is the act or hurting yourself. It can manifest its self in many ways, such as cutting, burning, or starving. Those are just some of the forms I've seen. So here are some tips on how to cope ‼️mainly cuts and burns, I don't really have experience with starving but dm me if you do and I'll try my best to give you some resources‼️

#1. Rubber bands.
With this one you just put the rubber band or hair tie on your arm and snap it when you feel the urge to cut or burn. I don't know how much I would recommend this, but it did help me.

#2. Markers/pens
This one is one I used a lot, what you do is when you feel the urge to self harm draw on the place where you would normal hurt yourself, and then you may feel better.

#3. Happy place
Go to your room or some place calm and relaxing, get a cup or tea or something to drink, then read, or journal, or watch films until you've calmed yourself down and no longer have the urge.

#4. Talking
This is my most recommended tip for you. Tell some one and get help. You may not think you need it, but I couldn't stop until I got help and told some one. I know it's scary, but tell someone you trust the most.

#5. Remember
Remember that you are beautiful and special in your own way. Someone out there loves you. Also know that self harm just causes more problems for you, and ultamatly doesn't help you.

❤️I hope these can help you. ❤️
