My Birthday

As I went downstairs to see what we were having for dinner, I over heard my parents talking about moving again.

Then they saw me and told me to sit down.

"Emma, your father lost his job. But we will be staying here." My mom told me.

I ran to my room and started crying. Good thing my birthday is tomorrow.

Because that makes me a little bit more happy.

I went to bed without dinner.

(Morning)

"Sweety wake up its your birthday!" My mom said.

Then she walked back downstairs.

My eyes were really foggy so I layed there for five minutes.

When I looked at the time I saw it was 10:35.

Mom and dad must not be making me go to school today.

I walked downstairs and mom put a stack of pancakes in front of me.

Then she poorer syrup over it and sprinkled mini chocolate chips on it.

I started eating right away.

Then I went upstairs and started looking at Instagram.

"Sweety don't come downstairs because I'm going to start decorating for your birthday party!!!!" My mom yelled.

"Ok!!!!" I yelled back.

The next time I looked at the clock it was already 3:35.

Wow time went by fast.

Then my phone buzzed.

"Charity- I'm at the front door. Where are you"

"Joelle- Come let me in your house. I'm stuck out here with Charity and I don't like it."

"Nathan- Me and charity are waiting where are you."

"Macey- Can't wait for your birthday party bestie!!"

"Danielle- Me and Brynn are on our way to your house right now."

"Brynn- Don't know if Danielle told you but we are almost there."

I got so happy that all of the fun was going to start.

I got off my bed to go let them all in then my phone buzzed again.

I looked at it.

"Grace- Hey bestie wish I could be there on your big day.

"Hope- Happy birthday!! I really miss you."

I went downstairs and it was all dark.

"Surprise!!!!!!!!" Is all I heard.

The lights came on and I saw all of my friends in my living room.

In the middle of them was a HUGE box.

I saw a cake that said "Happy 15th Birthday Emma!!"

It was amazing.

What happened next surprised me.
