As I walked in the classroom, I caught Jacob staring at me. I have never had a boyfriend and I'm in 7th grade. To me, that is embarrassing. But he has been my crush since last year and I really think we have a connection.
For reading class, all we did was catch up on our book we are reading.
"Alright class, the bell is about to ring." Mrs. Jones said.
"Hey when you came in the class, I could have swore Jacob was looking at you." My other best friend Hope squealed.
I just shrugged my shoulders. As the bell rang, I went downstairs to my locker. Then, I his behind a corner. I saw Grace get in the locker and pick up the present.
I went in front of her and said "Happy Birthday!"
"Thanks" she said sadly, then walked off.
That was weird. Grace is almost never sad. There's something going on. And I'm going to figure it out.
