47.Victim

Bryan's POV.

As soon as I was done with my speech and got off the stage my two body guards were by my side but they were not meant to be focused on me. They were meant to be with rose and i could tell something was off.

These guards have worked for my family for a lot if years and we're my favorite, I grew up with both of them at my side and I saw them as older brothers, they taught me a lot of things I knew they were there when father was at work. My father is great, one of the very best but his work took most of his time by day and he'd try to make up for it on the weekends.

I glanced at tiny and I noticed his fists were clenched and he was frowning and deep in thought, he was quite intimidating.. To others not me and I could tell something was bothering him. His nerve was popping out on the side of his forehead. And as for rocco my other guard he was sweating so I knew something was up.

Scanning the crowd I found the table where rose was supposed to be, there sat James and Lillian and Chris and Alicia.

No rose.

"where is she?"I asked both if them and at first they acted like they didn't hear me, normally if you tried that with anyone else on my family. You're dead plain and simple if you're lucky you get fired which is not so good to because you wont be protected under the Gonzalez name again. Most of my men are in the mafia so if the Russians or any other sources hear you're fired you're dead.

But since it was tiney and Rocco, my two best friends apart from James I let it go.

"where is rose Tiney? "my voice came out harsh, just the way I liked it. And It had an effect on the two bone heads.

"in the bathroom!"

"out on a walk!"

Both answered the same time and I knew something was off. I glanced at the table to see Alicia, Chris, Lillian and James and they all seemed confused especially Lillian who was on the phone, Alicia looked around hopelessly and the boys were on the phone texting rapidly.

I walked quickly towards the door bumping into some people on the process.

"ow!"a lady yelled she turned around to meet my stare and she immediately composed herself.

"Mr Gonzalez!  I-"

"pleasure to meet you too."i muttered and ran towards the door as I got closer to it the two men in front of the door were laughing about something and I instantly got irritated. "whats so funny men?"

They composed themselves. "n-othing sir"

"have you seen my girlfriend?"I asked with a firm Tone.

"you're who sir?"they asked surprisingly. They obviously haven't heard the news but from their tone I could tell they have heard the fake news and chose not to believe it. I don't blame them.

" The lady I came I  with, rose."

"yes we have sir she was came outside about an hour ago"

"but then she left with Raquel for a walk we haven't seen either ever since".I looked at both of them like they had lost it.They let her leave with Raquel especially on the night I announced her as my girlfriend, had Raquel known?, she didn't even enter the venue and I'd she did I would have noticed it.on the other hand if I was dating someone else she would be one of the first people to know. The thought of that made me furious it made me clench my fists as I thought of all the possibilites. The last time someone I cared about went missing it was all my fault and it was also because of Raquel. She's not a girl to be messed with I learned that a long time ago,she is a Russian the daughter of a dangerous one too. And she is no different than her father at all I knew that every one did except from Lillian and rose and tonight these two idiots let her get away with Raquel.

"you're fired."

"But sir-"

"you no longer answer to me, you are now alone on the streets now get off my property."

"Bryan don't do it " Chris yelled from behind me.

The look on the guards faces were priceless they were somewhat relieved but still in fear. They knew if I let them go they would be dead, the enemy would get them. As long as they worked for me they are protected.

"give me a good reason to not fire them or worse send them underground Chris."i turned around.

"They are the only witness, they must have seen the car Raquel arrived in and what she had on, they are our only lead and if you want rose back, you're only  chance."he Said with his arms crossed. I knew he was right, I clenched my jaw and turned around to fave the whips that were shaking. Why did I hire them in the first place?.

"You will be taken underground to help with the investigation until rise is found and if you haven't told us anything useful-"

They shook their heads.

"first thing off is a finger and we continue from there and I'll make sure it's done myself"

"Bryan don't waste time on them it's best we begin immidiately"

"I won't be here for the rest of the event you lead it on and reassure the guests,call tiny and Rocco for me. I'll be taking a trip to Russia".

Unknowns POV.

"Should the big Boss be told about this?"

"no!, don't tell daddy about this! And if you do its off with you're throat!"I warned Salazar the guard that was with me on this mission he was the only one who knew about it. He and a few others.

At first I wanted to go to the ball just to attend but I saw the news on TV and I decided to end this bitches life once and for all so I decided to kidnap her instead. At first I knew it would be hard to  get her out if the venue but she was outside of it already and how could I resist, she Made it a lot more easier for me.

I smiled wickedly to myself. But I couldn't kill her, no. Daddy warned me about killing I had done too much if it. But who cares about daddy anymore, I'll only keep her alive because with her away I could have Bryan to myself. And it will be fun seeing his family perish anyway and then daddy will award me greatly yes that's what I'll do I'll keep her hidden in the shadows.

I'll take her to the same place I took the last victim;he'll never think of going  there again it was the place they thought I killed the last. If only they knew!, he won't think of that place and even if he did he won't go there it would be too painful for him.

I looked over to her where when sat with a blindfold on her eye, her skin pale and lips drained if colour. Is she really that weak. I stroked her hair and I admired it I admired the thought of all the painful things that would happen to my next victim.
