Battle 1

It was already afternoon and Esperanza, and the others were already half way to their destination.

"Ok, we're almost there, just hang in there, AJ." Said Esperanza. "I believe AJ is not going anywhere." Said a mysterious voice.

Miracle and Ray were able to recognize that familiar voice. "Ruby?!?" Said Miracle and Ray at the same time.

"Hello, big brother and cousin. Missed me?" Ruby asked. "Y-you died... 7 years ago.... h-how are you here?" Said Ray.

"What? You didn't know? Father revived me." Said Ruby. "Dad's alive?!?" Ray asked.

"Uncle Troy, is alive?!?" Said Miracle. Ruby rolled her eyes. "Anyways, I'm here to kill you, princess Esmeralda."

"Are you kidding me?!? Why does everyone call me Esmeralda the first time?!? It's Esperanza! Seriously, I'm NOT DISNEY!!!!" Said Esperanza.

Ruby then shot a fireball at Esperanza. Esperanza was able to dodge  the fireball with her powers.

"Ruby stop! This isn't you! You used to be so kind and caring, what happened to you?!?" Said Miracle.

"That stupid little princess took AJ away from me! And because of her AJ doesn't love me anymore! And I'll make sure that she dies!" Said Ruby.

"What is she talking about?" Esperanza asked. Ruby then started charging towards Esperanza with anger in her eyes.

She then punched Esperanza really hard in the guts, causing Esperanza to fall and hit the ground. "Agh!" Esperanza was in pain.

"Esper!" Shiny yelled as everyone ran to her. "Ruby! That's enough!" Said Ray.

"I'll never stop! Plus why join these losers, if you and Miracle can just be with you're family? You know, the dark side." Said Ruby.

"Bruh, this isn't Star Wars." Said miracle. Esperanza got up. "How does she not give up?" Ruby asked.

"I'm tough princess." Said Esperanza. Ruby smirked. "I think we should have a fight to the death." Said Ruby.

"You're on,witch." Said Esperanza. Esperanza's friends were just about to run towards Ruby, but they were stopped by miracle and Ray.

"This is Esperanza's fight." Said Miracle. "But we got to help her!" Said CJ. "Esperanza is our girl! She needs our help." Said daisy.

Esperanza used her powers to control the water and started shootings water at Ruby.

Ruby was coughing the water that went in her mouth. "I-is that the best you can do? Quit being so soft and fight like an actual hero!" Said Ruby.

Ruby then started punching and kicking Esperanza."agh!" Esperanza was in bad pain. "Give up?" Ruby asked.

"N-no! I won't! As long as I'm still breathing, I'll never give up!" Said Esperanza. "You're tougher then you look. No wonder you're a tomboy. Just like the little purple troll that is held hostage along with AJ." Said Ruby.

"W-what? What do you mean little purple troll?" Esperanza asked as she was trying to get up. Ruby placed her hand under her chin and lifted her head up so that Esperanza would look straight into her eyes.

"We thought that little troll was you, but we made a mistake, but she can make a fine reward from her home." Said Ruby.

"If you do anything to AJ or that little purple troll, you're going to regret it!" Said Esperanza. "I would kill you now, but it will just be boring without AJ seeing you die, so I'll just take you're soul and kill you in front of him." Said Ruby as she started charging up her powers to take Esperanza's soul.

CJ wouldn't stand losing her best friend. She then started running towards Esperanza and Ruby.

"At least you'll see AJ one last time, princess!" Said Ruby as she shot her powers to Esperanza to take her soul.

CJ then got in front of Esperanza and instead of Ruby taking Esperanza's soul, she took CJ's. Esperanza's eyes were wide open, this made her remember the day she lost AJ.

"Nooo!" Said AJ as he got in front of Esperanza. "AJ!!!!" Esperanza yelled.

"CJ!!!!" Yelled Esperanza. Everyone gasped. Shiny ran up to Esperanza and CJ. "CJ!" Yelled Shiny as he caught her before she hit the ground.

Esperanza started crying. "No.... NO!" Esperanza was sobbing. "Hmmm.. not the troll I was hoping to hit, but at least that will make you weaker. Oh well, I'll be back, princess." Said Ruby as she took CJ's soul.

Esperanza couldn't believe she lost someone else that she loved. Shiny couldn't believe that his girlfriend's sold was taken away. "We can't just leave her body here." Said lily.

Miracle picked up CJ's body like a bride. "I'll take her body back to the troll tree. And don't worry, we'll get her soul back, and AJ's" said miracle as he teleported to the troll tree with CJ's soulless body.

Esperanza and the girls wouldn't stop crying. "T-this was all my fault!" Said Esperanza. "Esper...." said shiny as he hugged her. Esperanza was sobbing on his shoulder. "It's not you're fault." Said shiny as he was stroking her hair.
