The Attack

Peppy was now in the hospital. The others were all waiting in the waiting room.

Esperanza was then walked back and forth all worried for grandfather. "Esperanza....?" Said AJ.

Esperanza couldn't talk. Then AJ hugged her. "It's ok, Esperanza...." said AJ as he was stroking her hair.

Esperanza hugged him back as she started crying on his shoulder. "I'm scared... I don't wanna lose him..." said Esperanza as she was sobbing.

"Shhhh...peppy is a strong troll, he's old but he's still strong." Said AJ hugging her a little tighter.

The doctor then came out. Everyone then stared at the doctor. "How is he?" Asked poppy.

The doctor looked down. "He has a little time left.... you all may enter his room to say goodbye." Said the doctor sadly.

Everyone then started to get sad as they all ran to his room. "Dad!" Said poppy crying.

"Grandfather...." said Esperanza as they all entered his room. Esperanza then started to have a flashback of what peppy meant when he mentioned about him not being around anymore.

"I'm not getting any younger you know, soon I'll be with you're grandmother." Said peppy.

Esperanza couldn't bare seeing peppy die. Poppy held peppy's hand. "Dad..." said poppy as she started sobbing.

"Oh, my beautiful daughter. Please don't cry." Said peppy. Poppy then started hugging peppy.

Esperanza walked up to miracle. "Can't you use you're magic to save him?" Asked Esperanza.

Miracle looked down all sad. "I'm sorry, princess... I can only heal the injured ones and I can only save the ones that were killed." Said miracle.

It was then Esperanza's turn to say her goodbyes. Peppy looked at her and smiled. "There's my beautiful granddaughter." Said peppy.

Esperanza eyes bawling. "Grandfather... you knew... didn't you? And that's why you t-t-told me what you were telling me earlier." Said Esperanza sobbing.

Peppy then placed his hand on her cheek. "Oh, my granddaughter. Please don't cry, it makes me sad seeing you cry. Please promise me you'll be a strong happy princess and a strong happy queen." Said Peppy.

"I-I-I promise I will.... but... but just not today!" Said Esperanza sobbing.

Peppy then hugged her. "Everything will be alright... I know it will all be difficult for you, but sometimes you just have to be strong for the ones you love." Said peppy.

Then all of a sudden peppy started close his eyes and stopped breathing.

Everyone gasped and started crying. "No... no, no,no, NO! GRANDFATHER!!!!!!!!!!!" Yelled Esperanza as she started sobbing even more.

3 months has passed. It wasn't the same without peppy, but everyone knew they had to be happy if it was the only thing that peppy loved most.

AJ was thinking about what Shiny said to him on his one year anniversary with Esperanza.

"When are you going to propose to Esperanza?" Asked Shiny.

AJ then went to the ring store and got Esperanza an amethyst ring. He knew that the amethyst will bring out her purple color and her beautiful purple eyes.
Soon he started looking for Esperanza.

Esperanza was reading a story to the kids. "Right before that horrible dark troll Willow was about to take the energy from the tree's heart the brave female troll got in front of the tree and saved the trolls from being extinct. And can anyone tell me who was that brave female troll?" Said Esperanza.
