UNEXPECTED
----------------------------------------
The night was cold and windy. Linda strolled through the fountain to relax her mind, like always. She always loved the moonlight, as well as the streaming water.
When she was lying on the ground, she fell asleep.
"Miss?"
The voice kept ringing in her head while she was sleeping. The voice was getting louder and deeper.
Linda gasped as she wakes up, sighting a boy in front of her, smiling like an angel.
"Who- who are you?" she asked.
"Travis," he chuckled.
"Uh, Linda," she replied.
Linda felt like the world stops for a while when he smiled. Is he an angel?
"I must be dreaming." She tried pinching her cheeks and slapping them.
"No, you're not, sweetie," he smiled.
Travis sat beside her on the ground, crossing his legs.
"So.. um.. Where are you from?" Linda looks at him curiously.
"I.. ah.. from the moon," he chuckled again.
"Oh.. I'm from the sun," she smirked.
Both of them giggled and stared at each other, smiling.
"Um, I think it's late now. Aren't you going back home? People say there are unseen forces may be walking nearby."
Linda frowned and hit him lightly on his arm.
She stood up and wipes away the dirt on her pants. She walked and waved to Travis.
After the unexpected meeting, Linda couldn't stop thinking about the boy she met. So she decided to stroll again at the fountain on the next day, at night, but he was nowhere to be seen. Same goes to the whole week.
Linda wondered what might happened to him. Did he really came from the moon? She chuckled and said to herself "Idiot".
"Why would I trust his words? Maybe he's busy. We're not even close. Oh my god, I must be crazy."
The next week, she went again to the fountain, but still no trace of Travis. She sat on a bench, playing with her small fingers.
"Linda?"
