Chapter 6

Travis's POV

Fu*k this! I'm so stupid. Why did I let my inner devil escape and I freaking fucked things up with Linda. Oh my god.

Well, I stopped her for good! That Juvilian, Juvalian, Juliviana- whatever that man's name. He's surely going to do something to Linda. Damn it! Horgan.. if just he would let me out in the morning, this wouldn't be happening. I wouldn't be shouting to her.

Even if I stopped her, she would still go. Why? Cause she's an idiot. She really wants to help me and then that Julivan- whatever! He will totally seduce my Linda, and I will lose her. Uh oh. I think I'm the idiot person now. Yeah, look what you've done Travis.

The next morning, Linda woke up early and took her things that she packed from last night. Things were so complicated between her and Travis, so they weren't meeting each other for a while.

She quickly takes a taxi to the library and arrived sharp 5 a.m. Julivian was there early and they walked to the hill.

"Okay, so this is how it's gonna be. We're gonna walk through this snow for 12 hours. It takes maybe 2-3 day till we reach the peak. It's pretty high and we might need to set a tent for a break. We have to get there before the snow gets worse. And also, the rose. When I'm doing the spell, be quiet."

Linda nodded and they started hiking.

Each hour, they took a break by making a shelter using the snow and ate some chocolate bars for energy.

After going through the snows for 12 hours, they finally set up a tent and made some snow fences.

"Linda, you're fine?" Julivian asked.

"I'm fine, but a little bit cold."

Julivian gasped and quickly warms her up by hugging her. He even wraps his arms on her ears.

"Warm?" he smiled, and Linda just nodded.

They started to hike again for 12 hours and repeated the same things.

"Wow, today is more challenging than yesterday. But well, never give up," Linda sighed while Julivian was warming her up.

"You're kinda cute," he looks closer to Linda, almost kissing her.

"Thanks, but no," she looked away and broke the hug. She was a bit freaked out, feeling like she's cheating.

"Do you really like that man, the man you wanna save?"

"Yes, and I would die for him, too. My love for him can't be broke like the curse," she smirked.

Julivian looked kind of disappointed but covered it with his always-serious-face.

"Oh my god, don't tell me he's falling for me," Linda said in her mind.

They continued again, and Linda was high spirited to hike. There were many challenging part, especially when Linda fell and buried in the deep snow. Thankfully, Julivian was quick to dig into her before she turns to an ice figure.

Then, finally, the destination they want to reach, The Peak. They finally made it.

"Ah, yes! We made it, Julivian! We made it-"

All of sudden, Julivian dragged Linda into a kiss that she couldn't break. He was locking her body tightly, right into him.

"Mhhm! Julivian!" Linda pushed him really hard and finally he was away.

"Linda, I'm sorry. My body just moved by itself, sorry," he gasped.

"You better stay away from that in the future. For now, let's go and get that rose. We really need to be quick."

They quickly go into the forest looking like, and Julivian leads the way to the place.

"Cursed Rose," he took a breath.

They saw many colourful of roses, grew everywhere, but can't be touched.

"Linda, I will do it now."

Julivian was chanting a spell which was said in Latin words, and Linda fainted as he finished the spell and took the only, blue rose.

"Oh no. She.. don't tell me, Horgan! That rotten bastard!" Julivian shouted and he saw her veins shaped a few words, '15 days'.

"I better make the serum and help Linda. I don't care if he will pick that guy over me, but at least I get my revenge on that vampire," he clenched his fist.

As Linda woke up, she felt weak and feeling like dying.

"Julivian! What happened? Why do I feel so weak.. and cold, more like freezing. This is weird," she gripped her arms.

"You, um.. you fainted. We need to get back down there and make the serum. You have to kill Horgan in 15 days, or else he will do something to Travis, I believe."

"What?!?" Linda yelled and she quickly prepares herself. "Let's go!"

AFTER 3 DAYS (12 DAYS LEFT)

"We made it. Now, let's get to our real objective," Linda smiled.

Julivian nodded and they went into a place, where Linda haven't went and see yet.

"This is the place where potions are made. World is full of weird stuff, doesn't it," he giggled.

"Wow, I didn't expect that magic do exist," she chuckled.

They entered the small house and as Julivian turned the lights on, there were many machine and books. There were also some sort of laboratory materials but were manipulated.

"Here it is," Julivian took the glass where the blue rose was kept. It was beautiful, and frozen. Linda took the book for the recipe, and read it while Julivian follows the instructions.

Recipes Of The Ice Poison

1. Carefully place the rose in a bowl with really cold water.
2. Wait until the rose turns darker, and pick each of the petal. Seperate the petals, 3 each in 2 different bowls.
3. For the first bowl, pour 10ml of holy water and a bit of salt that is blessed. Mash until makes a bit of runny paste.
4. Second bowl, pour 15ml of silver liquid and a drop of a human's blood. Mash like in step 3.
5. After making the paste, mix both bowl in a beaker and evaporate the liquid, until you get only dry leftovers.
6. Then, pour again 50ml of cold water and leave for 5 days.
* Can be used to poison in drinks, injection, etc.

"We have to wait for 5 days, Lin. No, you have to. Here, take this and go for it. What I want to say is best of luck and kill that Horgan. And also.."

He slowly drags her into a hug. Linda just thought of a friendly hug of them.

"Thank you, Julivian. I owe you," she smiled and quickly returns back to her home.

"I hope she could make it. She's the strongest woman I ever met. That man must be lucky to have her," Julivian sighed.
