CURSE

-

While waiting for the snow to fall for the first time in the year, Linda and Travis spent their time with delightful moments together.

Every night, Travis would go to Linda's house and they would watch a movie together, or maybe watch the stars on the rooftop.

For Linda's side, she kept a secret diary from Travis that contains a calendar. She would count the days that he mentioned a few weeks ago, every morning. She also wrote some of their moments, which she thinks were crazy.

She went out to the library on the afternoon and searched for a book.

"Yes, this is it! I knew I had a connection with you, little fella," she giggled and took the old book titled "Enchanted Flowers".

"Contents. About book, biodata, bla bla bla," she flipped through the pages.

"Red rose, white rose, blue rose- hm. Gah! OH MY GOD!" she accidentally shouted.

The librarian sushed and pointed to the poster "SILENT".

She blushed and continued her reading.

"What are you searching for, pretty amigo?"

"Ugh!" Linda quickly closes the book and looked a young man smirking at her.

"Sorry for freaking you out, but I'm Julivian. I see you're going through a mysterious book," he raised his furry eyebrows.

"Why are you minding others business?" she frowned.

"I know exactly what you are searching for. About vampires, curse.. right?" he suddenly looked serious.

Linda gasped and nodded slowly.

"Up the hill, you will find a blue rose, trapped inside the light. Only the real spell can seperate between the stem and the soil. Once touched by an intruder, will forever leaving this world." he said, without stopping on each word.

"Did you just memorized it? I think I read it on a page in this book. You're cool," she smiled.

"The blue rose can only be made by a hand of a real man. Heat of the boiling water breaks the inside of veins of the flower, close to burning it in hell. Ice is the reason why people freeze and die, which is the effect of the rose, and painfuller than being burnt. Cracking sound in the body slowly are heard from the heart, then to the veins, then to the tips of the hair." he exhaled.

"Which means you need to inject the vampire or make them drink-"

"Inject, miss."

"How did you know-"

"I made the book," he giggled.

"What?!?" the shout made the whole library stares at her.

"Actually, my father was an half wizard and pure human. He spent his whole life researching after my mother died from the evil rotten bastard, Horgan. He's a vampire," he clenched his teeth.

"I found that book inside my father's old chest that was written in Latin after he died from a heart attack. 5 years, I learned the language and finally made a new duplicate of the book that is written in English. I just wanted to help."

"Sorry to hear that. Well, you helped me. I'm really grateful though, and I'm just hoping that you will be strong for everything," she smiled brightly.

He smiled and stood up.

"Sorry for disturbing you, young lady. I must go now," he smiled and bowed.

Linda nodded.

"And keep that beautiful mouth of yours shut in here," he winked.

She rolled her eyes and told him to leave.

"Oh my god, what did just happen!" she covered her face.
