It was the day of Vanessa's party and I missed her dearly. So I called Bree as I got ready to go get Vanessa. She didn't answer so I called again and AE answered
"What you want," he said in a half-sleep voice.
"I'm bout to come get my baby nigga and tell Bree we gotta talk later."
"Alright, I'm bout to tell her to get ready. Now get off my girl's phone" he hung up. Tyga then walked in the room
"Where are you going, bae?" "I'm bout to go get Sassy, it is her birthday," I said slipping on my ugg boots.
"I could do it. I am head on that side, anyway." He said grabbing his keys
"Guess we can ride together. And where are you going?" I said walking to his car.
"I was going to see my mom but I guess now we're going to see her" I played with my nails.
It's been a long time since I met somebody's mother. What if she doesn't like me? What if she thinks I'm just trying to trap him? I was so lost in thought I didn't notice we were pulling up to Bree's house.
I hopped out the car and walked in the house using my key. I went into her pantry and got a bottle of water.
"What's wrong with you sis." Bree asked
"Bitch he want me to meet his mom. I ain't meet anybody's momma since Ms.K and I wasn't a single mother when that happened. Bitch this is too stressful." I put my head in my hands
"Girl shut your ass up and go smoke your nerves away," she said handing me a jay.
I went out back to smoke.
"I'm not ready for this," I said to myself
"Not ready for what," Tyga said from behind me
"Meeting your mom. I mean what if she doesn't like me? Or worst, she thinks I'm only with you for your money and to trap you?" He wrapped his arms around my waist
"You have nothing to worry about. My mom already know about you. It's my crazy ass sister you got to worry about." I stared at the ground as I walked back to the car.
"Like really, I would hate to disrespect your family if they side-eye me" I said remembering meeting Derrick's family for the first time.
