Hola People!

Today's story is called 'The Unexpected Guest' by Agatha Christie.

If you don't know who Agatha Christie is then it is time for some background check.

Agatha Christie is the most widely published author of all time with her works outsold only by Shakespeare and the Bible. She is regarded by generations of fans as the greatest mystery writer ever, and her novels are read and cherished the world over. 

Summary -

" When a stranger runs his car into a ditch in dense fog in South Wales and makes his way to an isolated house, he discovers a woman standing over the dead body of her wheelchair-bound husband, gun in her hand. She admits to murder, and the unexpected guest offers to help her concoct a cover story. But is it possible that Laura Warwick did not commit the murder after all? If so, who is she shielding? The victim's retarded young half-brother or his dying matriarchal mother? Laura's lover? Perhaps the father of the little boy killed in an accident for which Warwick was responsible? The house seems full of possible suspects..." 

Review -

I don't have words for this book. It is just freaking amazing! I read the whole book in just two days. With all the unexpected twists and turns, there is almost no way to know who is the murderer. In the story, I have noticed that the title doesn't mean a person in particular. It has many meanings. The 'unexpected' means the news of death, the person trying to help stifle the murder and much more which you will get to know when you read the book. But I would tell you that the most unexpected thing was the revelation. As to who did the murder.
