(Y/n’s POV)

A wave of jealousy hit me as I pulled into Caitlin and Ryan’s house. I cant be jealous, but I was. I wanted to be the one Justin was proposing too. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Justin, nobody else. I walked into their house, and they both stared at me. “You okay?” Caitlin said. When she said that, I totally lost it. I walked to her, with tears streaming down my face. “do you understand how much it hurts to see the only person you’ve ever loved marry someone else.” I asked her. “y/n everything is gonna be alright.” “stop saying that because obviously it isn’t.” the three of us walked into her living room and sat down. I tried to get my mind off of him by watching a movie.

(Justin’s POV)

Selena and I have been engaged for over four hours, and she already scheduled a meeting with the party planner. In the mean time, I was left with calling all of my family and breaking the news to them. I finished called all my cousins and was left with just my mom. ring ring (lol) “Hello” “hey mom” “hey sweetheart how are you?” “im good mom, I have some news.” Its now or never “go ahead sweetie” “Selena and I are engaged.” Silence was all I heard “hello mom, you there?” “Hi im sorry, just taking it all in. You sure she is the one?” “Yes mom im sure.” “well then congrats, I have too go now. Let me know when the wedding his and give me all the details.” And with that she hung up. I was so surprised with my moms reaction, I though that she would be happier for me.

~Two Months Later~

(y/n POV)

Today was the first day of my new job. I’ve been feeling a lot better. I pulled my life back together. I bought a townhouse next door to Caitlin and Ryans house, and asked Scooter Braun for a job. I got out of bed, and got dressed for my first day of work. I got in my car and headed for his office. “Hey y/n” the lady at the front desk greeted me. “hi” I answered. “Scooter is in his office, you can go back there.” I knew my way around the office, walked to Scooters. I knocked on the door because it could tell he was talking to someone. “come in.” scooter said. Oh god, he was talking to Justin. Of course he was talking to Justin, who else we he be yelling at. “hi” I said snapping out of my thoughts. I tried not to look at Justin but it didn’t work. “so y/n sit down im just finishing talking to um Justin.” He said trying not to say Justins name. “okay” I said walked to the open chair next to Justin. “Hey” Justin said looking at me. “Hi” I said not even looking at Justin. They talked for another 10 min, and then Justin left. “So, im sorry y/n. um today can you just file these contracts for me.” scooter asked me. “yeh sure” I said taking off my bag and grabbing the contracts, all 100 of them.

(Justin’s POV)

Seeing y/n brought up so many feelings I tried to forget. My wedding is only 2 days away and im starting to second- guess myself. Am I ready to get married? Yeh I mean I love Selena. I looked as my phone buzzed.

Selena was in NYC buying her wedding dress. I decided to go and visit Ryan and Caitlin. “Hey guys.” I said as they both opened the door. “Okay so don’t talk to me.” I said as they both stared at me. “how can you just show up here, and act like everything is okay.” Caitlin questioned me. “What are you talking about.” I asked. “Do you understand how much you crushed y/n. She loved you so much, and it killed her to see you propose to someone else.” Did I really hurt her that much? I feel horrible now. “Oh” was all I managed to say. “well I think you should go and get your suit or something because you are getting married in two days. Y/n is coming to the wedding because your mom invited her. Shes coming over soon to pick a dress, you should go before she comes.” And with that Caitlin closed the door. I got in my car and headed for my house.
