One Year Later

(Justins POV)

Tonight is our one- year anniversary. Selena and I have been together for one year. How crazy is that! I love her so much and I think that she is the one. “Something smells good.” I said walking into the kitchen. A lot as changed in a year. Selena and I moved in together and our relationship is better than ever. To be totally honest, every now and then I catch myself thinking about y/n. I wonder what she is up to right now. “come eat babe.” Selena said snapping me out of my thoughts. “coming” I said walking towards her. “so today is our anniversary, and I thought that we should meet for lunch at that fancy restaurant because I have a meeting this morning.” She said. “okay yeh I cant wait.” I said eating breakfast. Two hours later, Selena left for her meeting and I went to Ryan’s house. I had a key to his house and walked right in. Caitlin moved in with him, and I heard them talking at the table. “Ryan we need to tell her.” Caitlin said. “No, Kendall should just tell her.” Ryan said. “No Ryan y/n and Kendall aren’t talking, what is she gonna say when she finds out they are engaged.” Well I didn’t see that coming. “oh god shes calling me now, she probably found out.” Caitlin said answering her phone. I was kinda excited to hear y/ns voice. “Caitlin..” y/n said. What is wrong with me, I cant have goose bumps, no Justin. “im not stupid I know the reason you haven’t talked to me is because of their engagement, honestly Im happy for them, but.” She said “is Justin going to be there?” wait, why does she care if im there or not. “I have no idea.” Caitlin said. “okay tell me if you find out. bye.” She said hanging up the phone. Part of me just wanted to continue talking to her. I made noise so they heard I was there. “hey Justin” they both said. “hi” I said. Is it bad that im second guessing myself on what I was planning on doing. “so I kinda need to talk to you guys.” I said sitting down. “whats up Justin.” Caitlin said. “im proposing to Selena today.” “WHAT!” Caitlin screamed. “are you sure shes the one.” Ryan asked me. “yeh, im  positive. Well, I gotta go.” I said leaving.

(y/n’s pov)

I haven’t been in LA for a year now, and today im surprising Caitlin and Ryan.  I pulled up to their house, and went to ring the doorbell. “AH!” Caitlin said pulling me into a hug. “hey y/n” Ryan said. “you okay?” they both said. “um can we talk.” I said looking at them. “yeh lets go sit on the sofa. We all sat down. “so don’t say anything until I say go okay.” They both nodded their heads. “so, okay I am so over Brandon and I moved on. But, I miss Justin so much its killing me. I honestly cant do anything without thinking of him. Like I quit hockey because it reminds me off him. What should I do, go to his house and tell him I love him, or is that crazy.” I ask them nearly in tears. “go.” I said with a smile trying to lighten up the mood. “y/n, im so sorry.” Caitlin said looking straight at me, then looking at ryan. “what are you not telling me.” I said standing up. “no I will just go find out myself, you know what, forget everything I just said.” I said running out the house, with tears streaming down my face. “y/n wait.” Caitlin screamed as I got into my car and drove to Justin’s house.

(Justin’s POV)

After a romantic lunch, Selena and I headed back to my house. It was time, this was it, I was going to ask her to marry me. We pulled into my garage, and I opened to door for her. We walked to the front of the car, and I pulled her into a hug. “Selena,” I started “I know we’ve through many ups and downs. But, I think that we are a perfect match.” Oh god its now or never. I got down on one knee, “Selena Marie Gomez, will you marry me?” I could see tears streaming down her face.

(Y/n POV)

I pulled into Justin’s neighborhood and headed towards his house. I knew he was home. I pulled onto his street and I started getting really nervous. I stopped the car, just about to get out, and then I saw something that killed me. Justin was down on one knee holding Selena’s hand, and then she jumped up and down and kissed him. That’s it, he’s gone, forever. “y/n?” Justin said. Oh no he saw me. I quickly turned on the car and drove back to Ryan and Caitlins house.
