Anya P.O.V: I am trying so hard to get my life settled. I am now renting an apartment and I have a waitressing job. I wish I could get Kat out of that place sooner. I am so scared of how she is doing. I myself used to be beat and almost raped. They are horrible places orphanages. A lot can go wrong. I still remember Tina, who was like a sister to me, who was raped and then beaten to death in the dreadful place. I just hope like hell that Kat is alright. I am hoping to go to that awful place to check on her. I live about an hour away when driving and luckily I have a car. I have been so busy, working 50 hours a week and then babysitting. It is so weird to wear clothes that aren't ripped up. I can wear blue jeans, and t shirts, and even tennis shoes again. It is so amazing. I know Kat's birthday is in a few days so I got a bag and filled it with new clothing, undergarments, and tennis shoes. I pack this into the car and then go to the store. I get a bunch of snack cakes and soda so that those poor kids can actually have a treat. As I drive to the orphanage I feel saddened as I cross the bridge that Kat and I'm parents were killed. I glanced down for a second and then the next thing I know a truck smashes into the car in front of me. I smash the brakes and climb out as I see the car go over, inside is the screaming mother, the dead father, and a little blonde haired girl who is now awake. I don't hesitate as I drive my car down to the bank. I climb out and jump in the river. I swim until I find the car, the mother was gone, the father was dead, and the little girl was crying, stuck in the back seat. I pull out my knife and cut the seat belt. I grabbed her and swam up as fast as I could. When I get her back to my car she is crying. I asked her what her name and age was. She looked at me and said "My name is Sierra and I am 14." I looked at her and ask if she remembers what happened. When I did this she told me exactly what I had seen happen and she cried some more. I couldn't let her go to the orphanage. I couldn't let that horrible stuff happen to her too. I had her sit in the back, where she fell asleep. I drove to the orphanage and parked the car. I climbed out and grabbed the items and went inside.
