Round and Round we go one last time,
your likeness imposed on me.
So lets wrap our fists in twine,
Have it out one last, so everyone can see.
I figure all the dreams are lies.
So this dance we're in right now will end,
The moment i look in someone else's eyes.
Just how long do you plan to pretend?
Wound and wounded we go again,
imagining a life so unreal.
So lets wrap ourselves in now,
That what we had, may never ever end.
I know the price of our dreams.
Such scars to bear upon our skin,
Such scars so dark red it gleams.
Just how long do we keep it in?
Sojourn and solamente song rings out,
from lamenting whispers.
So lets wrap our hearts in doubt,
Adjoining love and pain, reality persisters.
I hear the sullen sounds afore.
Chaotic dances with no end,
Just as the tales of olden lore.
You will break, or you will bend.
Quickened by the age we live in.
Sickened by the clocks deft hand,
Wrapped and blackened and burgeoning to time.
Glasses breaking under sand.
I hear the culling cry so pure.
Change raking at our nerves and skin,
Begging us, imploring us, endure.
Lest we shatter, lest we rake our sin.
