Part 27

I walked out of the front office of my school and walked down the hallway towards my locker.

Finally the day was over and I could go home and sleep.

I put the combination into my lock and opened my locker. I stuffed my math and science book in there and closed it.

???: YN!! Hold on!!

I rolled my eyes and turned to face Mitchell, my ex boyfriend.

YN: what do you need?

Mitchell: do you think you could give me a ride home?

I laughed and raised my eyebrows.

YN: don't you have your own car?

Mitchell: yeah but it's in the shop and my friends totally left me.

I slung my backpack over my shoulder.

YN: whatever.

I turned around and walked down the hallway towards the entrance of the school.

We walked out and got in my car.

Mitchell: I'm sorry about how I dumped you.

YN: I actually do not care that you dumped me. Even though you practically broke my heart of us dating for 3 years.

I pulled to a stop at the front of his house.

Mitchell: well I was thinking... Maybe we could just catch up sometime and go out for dinner?

YN: I actually have a boyfriend.

His face went from a smirk to a frown.

YN: even if I didn't have a boyfriend I still wouldn't want to be with you ever again.

Mitchell: YN baby, I know you still want me.

I laughed and looked at him.

YN: and you're still a player. Please get out of my car.

Mitchell: c'mon baby.

His face moved closer to mine and I was frozen.

YN: Mitchell... I said get out of my car now.

He moved away and opened his door.

Mitchell: Whatever YN..

He rolled his eyes and got out, slamming my car door behind him.

I closed the front door and walked into the kitchen setting my bag on the counter. I turned around and saw my Dad standing behind me.

YN: Dad!!! You're home!!

I hugged him tightly and pulled away.

Dad: I've missed you princess.

I laughed and sat down on one of the bar stools.

YN: why are you home so early? I thought you were in Australia on business.

Dad: well turns out headquarter promoted me and I don't have to go on business trips ever again.

YN: oh my god!!! Have you told mom?

He laughed and sat down next to me.

Dad: Actually you're the only one that knows I'm home right now. I need you're help to make a surprise dinner.

YN: of course!! But what do you want me to make?

He sat there beside me thinking. I'm so glad he's finally home again.

Dad: hmm... How about spaghetti?

YN: Okay!!

I set down the two plates of spaghetti and lit the candle that was in the middle of the table.

YN: do you have the flowers ready?

My dad nodded and stood at the front of the door. My moms supposed to be arriving any minute now. Plus since it is Valentines day my dad couldn't pick a more perfect day.

I smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek and walks downstairs to the basement with Kyle to watch a movie.

Kyle: is mom home yet?

YN: not yet but she should be pretty soon.

I plopped down right next to him on the couch.

YN: So what movie are we watching tonight?

I looked over at him messing up his hair. He laughed and pushed my hand away.

Kyle: I was actually hoping we could play black ops?

YN: you really want to lose again?

Kyle: I got some tricks up my sleeve. I'm way better now.

He handed me a controller and I rolled my eyes.

YN: you're so on. Prepare to lose brat.

I laughed as he started the game. As we were playing my phone started ringing.

Kyle: aren't you going to answer it?

YN: Nah I'm to busy beating you in this game.

After 30 minutes of playing I paused the game.

YN: you should just give up already.

Kyle: no way!

YN: I'm 50 kills ahead of you.

I smiled and picked my phone up and unlocked it. I looked through my missed calls and came across T.C'a number. I sighed and locked my phone.

Kyle: who called you?

YN: uhmm TC did

Kyle: why aren't you guys with each other tonight? Since it is Valentines day.

I shrugged and set my phone beside me:

YN: he's been busy with the band and stuff. I didn't want to bug him.

It was true. I didn't want to bug him. I haven't seen him for 3 weeks and it pretty much sucks, especially when you can't see your best friends.

Kyle: I haven't seen him around lately.

YN: I know. It's whatever.

We both looked behind us looking at somone walk down the stairs.

YN: oh my god!!
